We absolutely murdered them and they will be in the reckoning at the end of the season as well.

Top 2 display tonight, best since we beat Forest in The Championship.
    We drew with Forest...

Edit unless you mean the away game
  • Wow what a great team performance we looked so good going forward thought we could of had more.

Saki looked very promising and gave us something extra along with Kirk.

Hard to pick anytime out because to a man they was all excellent but albie was brilliant it was easily his best game, he looks like he is loving the role and belief being shown in him by garner.

clayden and Kirk linked up very well.

Don’t want to get to excited on the back of one win but promising signs.

  • Credit where its due I Thought Stockley wasn't going to be able to play Garnerball but he put in a good performance tonight - should have scored with one of his headers but think the keeper made a very good save for the one that Rak Sakyi scored from.

Also pleased with Kirk I thought he looked a luxury we couldn't afford before it finally clicked tonight.
  • Nantwich Town drew 2-2 - decent game.

Oh - and we f*cking ripped Argyle a new one.

On to York races tomorrow - I'm feeling lucky!
  • One of those games I wish would never end. We were excellent across the pitch today. Lad from Palace looks like the real deal, I’m sure they’ll destroy our promotion chances by recalling him in January and then sending him to Swansea.

Hope you are luckier than I was at Ripon on Saturday!
  • A few observations before posting more later.....

First time Golfie Jnr has seen us score 5 in the flesh.

Must be a first win at home, with a crowd, under floodlights for years.

    5 different goalscorers

Adkins wanted 23 clean sheets.....and it got him the sack. Top 6 and only 1 clean sheet so far. Shows that scoring goals is more important.

Clare's thunderbolt is up there with Page's for goal of the season against Plymouth.
  • "We never smash teams & our GD us usually worse than most of the teams around us"
  • Out and asked my Mrs for the score and I thought she was taking the piss... no goals in this team!
  • (Heard by the player's tunnel at the end of the match).

"Aw Mum.  I know you're proud of me, but I'm 18, I'm at work, you're gonna have to let go some time".  :)
I had to look up who had squad number 18…

    Last week?
    We drew last week
  • Just home from the Valley…

Fantastic performance by the lads, the movement off the ball and the angles they created for a pass were top draw.

Great performances all round with a special mention to Albie Morgan.

    Looking forward to Saturday.

  • Having nailed all 3 results so far (albeit with a draw/win or draw/lose tag)
tonight Matthew we’ll be Brazil1970 and win 3-0 or 3-1 and return to our rightful place of 5th in league one

    So close it was Brazil 1986 (Josimar) , 5-1 and we’re 6th

Gillingham in March. 1-0 win on a Tuesday night. Before that, Ipswich in December. 2-0 win.

Brilliant performance, all that you could wish for … the football gods looked kindly on us and just as I’m almost happy the scummiest, spawniest , c***iest, jammiest filth fest manage to get two og’s in millwall time but no they never score late .

  • Brilliant performance, something to build on.

First next buster since Page v Plymouth.

Best performance since Plymouth at home last season?  Still the last time we won a game were neither Stockley nor Aneke played IIRC

First 5 or more since Plymouth away?

Can we play you every week?
