Will definitely take just getting out of the Group Stages, with turgid wins against Denmark and Slovenia based on the last couple of days of Football
Hopefully a win against Denmark and Slovenia fail to beat Serbia. That would guarantee us first place with the Slovenia game still to play - can try a few things, rest some names etc.
Of the big sides; Germany and Spain have been standouts, but difficult to judge the former based on how Scotland played, whilst Croatia could have been better in front of goal against Spain.
France look really good on the counter, but defensively suspect - England look organised, but concede possession too easily - Italy and Portugal, just look meh.

Next time someone says England don’t care about Scotland they’re getting a link to this thread
Turkey vs Georgia in Dortmund today was unbelievable, both in the stands and on the pitch. I was sat right on the barrier between the two sets of fans. About 90 mins before kick off is when pockets of fighting started to break out, but nothing more beyond that afterwards really.
Msn news predicts an unchanged England Xl to face Denmark
thats depressing, don't think TAA has earnt the spot which was his to claim the other day. Give Mainoo/ Gallagher or Wharton a go, obviously a few other changes needed too for me.
France will still qualify without him. Best let him have a week to recover
A bit like Ronaldo/ Kane, it might free up the rest of the team so could work. Although in Mbappe's head he wants to win golden boot/ player of tournament so i'd imagine he will try and play through it.
What i mean on the first part is those players the team plays to get them in, so it becomes a bit one dimensional and everyone just trying to set up the main player rather than play as a team. England don't necessarily do it to the same affect but sometimes when Kane isn't involved much or not further forward it holds us back, mixed thoughts as i wouldn't leave him out but we need to adjust to it and keep him further up top.

Edit: & Scotland also getting absolutely battered. That was also great viewing.

Cesc Fabregas saying how quickly he had a mask fitted, and that he played straight afterwards.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mbappé was on the bench against the Netherlands though.
