The Stockport fans think they've won the FA Cup.
They must have heard that we are terrible on the road & have only won once away all season.

We do have quite a few brain-dead players don’t we!

can’t wait to see the back of Morgan, Lavelle, innis and a few others…
Once again, a huge clear out in the summer needed- Sandgaard out as well too please

so bored of watching this utter crap team, in this utterly wank league!

replay against Stockport, no doubt fielding a team of under 21s again, boring boring Charlton!
Morgan was our best player for fuck's sake. Were you even watching? And what did Inniss do wrong?

Do you genuinely think both are good enough to play for us?
Innis is a complete donkey, who somehow has managed to not be injured this season. He’s a liability and an accident waiting to happen in general.

morgan just a football mercenary, nothing more than a cup game team player- and someone who has never kicked on in the multiple chances given…

shoddy to ‘play alright’ against a league 2 opponent- when they can’t do it against bottom of the league 1 teams

Fucking bullshit. Inniss is a class act. Morgan had a stormer today.

He’s only at the clubs still (let along in the team) due to lack of investment and fuck all alternatives!
How elerewere doesn’t start today in front of him or lavelle God only knows!

Morgan can have a stormer, it was against a team barely out of non-league, and will be dining out on that performance for another 5/6 games!

Absolute basket case of a squad, not helped by injuries and sheer incompetence ability wise from other players means we have to look forward to a replay up north in amongst pretending we have a chance of play offs when facing our own league opponents…

only positives today for me, was aneke starting and surviving. No idea why Kanu wasn’t fancied, nor elerewere

We played pretty well, had loads of chances, didn't put it to bed, that happens. Didn't think we were that bad. We just don't have enough defenders
Loads of chances? How many saves did their keeper make?
Not that many, as we kept missing the chances
Still dispute your use of the word 'loads'

TBF with the apathy of our fans we don’t deserve to be in it still
Ask yourself CT why the fans are so apathetic, could it be the shitty owner and a shitty team?
    Answer on a postcard please.
Build it and they will come.

My problem with how we play is summed up by the Stevenage away game, we tap it around for 75 minutes getting nowhere and should be two or three down. Then we panic, get urgency into our game and go more direct. Then we finally get a shot on target and score just before the end.

Sideways is ok if it eventually leads to something but for us it just leads to frustration.  Garner needs to mix it up more, we have to cross the ball more as well both Stockley and Aneke are good in the air.

Stockport made a fair few changes and matched pretty much our strongest 11 available at the moment. Looked vulnerable at the back from the first minute.

Keep saying it, but defensively we are a mess. No sign of it getting better either.

Game management at the end was shocking.

This team has no personality and watching is a complete chore.

Two things stood out for me today, when we played out from the back both Lavelle and Innis look so uncomfortable and there is zero movement ahead of those bringing the ball out.

Chin needs to be removed from the equation. That is a couple of absolute stinkers in his last few appearances.
This all day long. We can't find a 5 yard back in midfield but then we had no one to play it up to when Chuks went off. I don't know what style of football would suit this set of players but we look increasingly clueless as the season goes on

Had a couple of hours down the Rad with a load of mates.
That was the only part of the day I enjoyed.
    Sat in the lower West
Not a bad view I have to admit
But what I had to endure over the next 97 minutes was torture.
We are seriously no better than half the teams in league Two and unless banjo boy sells up quick that is where we are heading.
    Cunt.
Couldn't agree more mate and shame we couldn't catch up. I would have been there had it not been for the trains and went to work instead, something i would never have done a couple of seasons ago.

Gone from missing one home game in 22 years to now missing half a dozen and i don't seem to be too bothered about it.

Can't see where any improvement is coming from. If anyone thinks TS is gonna do anything in January, they are wildly mistaken. His low profile now tell's us what he thinks of the club.

I clicked on BBC sport at 17.00 to see the results and saw 2-1 and knew it would change to 2-2 why do we always do it.

There was an earlier post on this thread that described us ...... as a "Poundland Barcelona".

    Morgan a "football mercenary" ....... ?

Do you even understand what that means?
How you can apply that term to a youth product that has spent all his career at one club, is beyond me.

More to the fact that he’s never improved himself/ability/consistency despite playing under 5 managers- all of which have seemingly kept him at the fringe of the squad!

Perhaps mercenary was the wrong term, but still, a player who adds nothing to the team but somehow finds himself still able to put in so little very often

Pretty much our strongest team, at home, v a team in the non league last season. Brilliant!
Whatever the performance, it's not "Pretty much our strongest team" with 9 players missing.

I think the point was that was the best team we have got (available), which is a problem isn't it.

Anyway Man City hit a fair few early crosses or balls through now they have Haaland up top.  The players aren't as bad as some make out, the manager is also not necessarily the problem but he does need to adapt his style to our forwards.

We had 7 or 8 players that would & have started matches this season. It is a squad game & no team nowadays plays 50 matches a season with the same 14  players. The team we put out would be reasonable for almost any team in League 1 bar the top 3 or 4.

    When’s the replay?

Not good that we can't close out a game when leading,we have to rectify in the transfer window or face mid table at best for the season.

Elerewe had an absolute stinker in the week against Plymouth (as, in fairness, did the whole defence). He looks to have gone back alarmingly and I can well understand why he was nowhere near the team today.

Potentially so, but considering lavelle is a main staple currently (due to injuries) and chin keeps getting a look in despite being so out of depths tells me that elerewere should get another chance!
