So, Middx have 24 overs and three wickets in hand to get 50 for four batting points and 100 for the maximum five points. It's that collective responsibility for the first time this season as they've taken more batting points already in this game than the rest of the games put together.
Middx are 366 all out. So, as things stand, we are still one point ahead. If we can get to 350 and draw the game then the only way that Middx can finish above us is by beating Notts

It's quite helpful that by batting second in this match we know how many runs we need. Rather than batting riskily and quickly to get 450 in 110 overs, we now know that we HAVE to get 350
No he has scored a ton this season though that was very early season I believe. He's had a poor season by the standards he set last season but is our top scorer with 721 runs at an average of 31.34. He's also batting in the hardest place to bowl against the new ball.
Massive irony that just about every Kent fan wanted to see Zak striding out to the middle instead of the out of form Compton this morning...
Indeed though I did originally think that we might have nominated Muyeye just because he has a tendency to get 30 or 40 and out whereas Compton has that capability to hang around for time and allow the others to bat around him. Getting to 350 might just be enough to keep us up.

Nepal are 17th in the ICC rankings.
Seb and a former Kent team mate of his Joe McCaffrey (son of Sky's Rob McCaffrey) are both qualified to play cricket for Hungary - yes they do have a a cricket team and are ICC Associate Members. It's results like this that will rather put them off the idea of doing so!

Compo out for 95. He deserved a ton.
More importantly, we still need 105 for 3 batting points
