Poor Denly cannot buy a run in the CC. His total this season is 31 (from 7 innings). And yet he has scored 365 runs at an average of 36.50 in The Blast.
It took a while for Muyeye to get into the CC side but perhaps it is time now to reward Harry Finch for the runs he has accumulated in the 2s by giving him an opportunity too - assuming that Billings isn't recalled that is.

More triumphant bat-waving for DBD as he brings up his double ton off 314 deliveries.
Cox has been scoring at a decent rate as well.
Kent moving into a half-decent position on Day 2: 438-4, a lead of 201.
If the last CC match is anything to go by we'll probably need a first innings lead of c600 to ensure we don't have to chase too many on the last day ...
Kent batsmen do all seem to be capable of going really big once they get in. There have been a surprising number of double hundreds, considering their relatively low overall records. Something which Crawley and Key took into the Test arena, both scoring double hundreds

Captain Leaning comes in to join DBD who's rolling along very nicely on 151.

386-4
Leaning bowled through the gate - did that turn a long way from four miles outside off stump or did it clip his willow on the way through?
386-4, DBD still going strong on 168.
DBD 180* (292)
Cox 3* (5)

453-4
Borrowing a line from Aussie commentator James Brayshaw:
"What the bloody hell is happening here?!"
453-4 off 104 overs, DBD 206* (325), Cox 29* (26)
Lead of 216
"How sh*t must you be, we've got maximum batting points"
Crack on and get a lead of 300 plus and then bowl them out.
492-5
Keep going Kent and win the fucker!!!
DBD 271* (298)
Evison 17* (53)
