Home turnout for tonight not looking anywhere near as encouraging as hoped :-(
How many were you expecting?
Not expecting, but given all the factors in my last post I was hoping we could draw out 14k home fans and 20k+ crowd. That still would have left 7,000 empty seats. Now it looks like there might be 10-12k empty.

14k home fans is a big ask given the circumstances, that is a championship league game crowd.
Given the fact its a cup game so expect reserves to be playing, the general apathy around the place, the weather, so close to Christmas etc I would have thought 8k home fans even with PV banging the drum.

Nearer 10k. The difference is that the blocks that are sold are nearly sold out. The distribution is different. The lower west and the upper Covered End will be rammed (based on ticket sales) the lower Covered End and the three centre blocks of the AC Stand busy.
It’s entirely what you’d predict based on the Norwich FA Cup crowd in January - probably the biggest League Cup crowd we’ve had since 2006.
Maybe this lot have just been brought in to attract a new owner and PV is trying to help that but then how does that square with appointing a new manager already ?

I did wonder that. Holden aside, could Sandgaard have appointed them to find a new owner, with that vehicle being the SE7 ltd company?
You play out a season and each time u pass go u pick up the tv money - u have squad numbers instead of properties - along the way u buy and sell players, u sell season tickets etc etc but it gets really interesting when you land on a takeover square - be like picking up a goal to jail card or pay property arrears - you then go into a labarynth of possible outcomes and will resume the game stronger or weaker depending on how u play it - when’s the next dragons den entries in by ? I’m on it
Just found out I have no trains home after the game tonight. I'll still go but won't be looking forward to a convoluted journey home.
You must need to change a few times to get to Bangkok.
I knew someone was going to come out with a comment like that! But I got two responses, even better.
It's not Southeastern for once, it's Southwestern out of Waterloo. And, no, they don't have a direct Bangkok train either!
"All passengers for Bangkok should take the Alton train and change at Basingstoke for the rail replacement bus service to Chiang Mai, where a connecting train to Bangkok can be caught. Please note that there will be no toilets on this bus."
Tonight was never going to draw a huge crowd. Amazed people thought it would
No it’s not a proper glamour tie but looking on the ticket thing and assuming tickets are still on sale up to ko I reckon the home areas open could get near to a sell out

Isnt the East half empty? How many walks up are you expecting
Edit: sorry Doucher tbf loads more sold than I had thought in the middle blocks of rhe Curbs
I wouldn’t fancy being in the lower west with Brighton behind and above, what an odd decision given we are often told we couldn’t give away fans part of the West for safety reasons

PV has been trying for years to help sort out our club, without any success.
