I'll email Tracey now and ask her advice on who I should contact at the club. If it is OK with everyone, when I send the email, I'll include some snips of this thread for context. I'll let everyone know what I get back from the club. Cheers all.8

I've emailed Tracey. The underlying tone is to highlight the sad passing of John to the club, in case they were not aware, and request if she could put me in contact with someone at the club or forward the email on to see if the club would like to reach out to Millwall to possibly arrange something. If I hear anything back, which I really hope I do, I will provide an update.4

I think they might now get a far bigger crowd for the Charlton game than they would've done.Callumcafc said:I’d imagine Millwall would want to acknowledge it but surely likely to save most of their tributes for the first league game where there’d be a bigger crowd.
After us they play another home friendly and a home Carabao cup game before the first league game, so whilst i'm sure they will do something at the league game, when it's another month and 3 home games down the line it makes a lot of sense to do something for the game with us.2

Thanks Sideways, that's really good of you, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I say I appreciate it.SidewaysInOz said:I've emailed Tracey. I haven't had a reply as of yet and ended up sending a copy of the email to Tracey on LinkedIn. Hopefully I will hear something next week. 🤞🏻1

I think that Millwall call the shots and we go along with their wishes.
I am sorry to miss this match as I will be going to the theatre.3

If James is half the man his dad was then we've got another good 'un.11

My mate was bang right his son James has stepped into his shoes
& has come out & said he will go all out to make them the club his late Dad was aiming for
With that sort of baking I can see the manager player's & all involved will give their all to make that happen
I will definitely be putting a bet on for them to go up4

Wow only got 8,/1 for them to go up thought I would get 15 to 20/1 so not the best of odds stuck £25 on
at least if they do go up it will soften blow ha1

Living out of the country I’ve just caught up with this. Very sad. RIP John Berylson.1

@SidewaysInOz - any movement with your idea?SidewaysInOz said:I haven't had a reply as of yet and ended up sending a copy of the email to Tracey on LinkedIn. Hopefully I will hear something next week. 🤞🏻1

I sent the email on the 7th July to Tracey but I have not heard anything back. I'm assuming that is because of the pre-season trip etc. as it's a busy time of year. There is also the takeover to consider I suppose. Hopefully I'll hear something back or there is stuff going on behind the scenes. I don't feel that I can chase as it was just a suggestion. It would be disappointing if nothing was done from my point of view.0

As a football club, I don’t think it’s our situation to insert into.SidewaysInOz said:I sent the email on the 7th July to Tracey but I have not heard anything back.
