Oggy is domiciled in Cornwall and I thought he had already said so on here so you can tick that County off 😉.

    Edit; Oops it was on the Countries thread;
    Cornwall.

In law, constitutionally separate from England. Apparently not even a Crown dependency.

Subject forbidden to be discussed in Parliament.

The Cornish have official minority status.

Kernow bys vykken. Onen hag oll rag Kernow!

A new Got / Need list.

I’m afraid that you are behind the times with regard to the Welsh counties. Since April 1996, Wales has had 22 administrative areas, 11 counties and 11 county boroughs.
Anyway, I live in the county of Vale of Glamorgan. There is another addick and contributor to this forum who lives about 200 yards from me but I will let him speak for himself.
I'm afraid you are on the wrong thread. This is about historic counties. You need to be on the thread about "administrative counties of Wales".

I was confused because your English county list included such non historic counties such as The West Midlands, ( where I lived for a couple of years) Tyne and Wear, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
Clearly there are loads of interpretations, and I agree with you. If I lived in Middlesex I'd be pissed off by the list, and why does Bristol count as an historic county??

Anyway, Vale of Glamorgan...is that South, Mid or West Glomorgan?    :)
The bit I live in is a few miles west of Cardiff and  used to be in South Glamorgan.

So what we missing so far?

    Bristol
    Cornwall
    Cumbria
    Durham
    Herefordshire
    Northumberland
    Nottinghamshire
    Rutland
    South Yorkshire
    West Midlands

scores on the doors - not much coming in from the rest of the UK:-

I have a place in Ceredigion (Dyfed). Not sure if that counts as I'm based in Essex.

Born in Kent, moved to SE London, then to Bristol for 25 years. Now moved to North Somerset (just outside Bristol boundary). Does that count as Bristol?

Raised in Plumstead,  lived in Shetland, last 32 years in Lincolnshire.

Born Nottingham. Grew up Orpington. Moved to Northamptonshire 33 years ago.

Might struggle to tick off Rutland given it's size, but I've been a member of a kayaking club there, got married there, and frequently visit as it's not far away if that helps!

Not an English county, County Tyrone (in Irish - Tír Eoghain, or even Contae Uí Néill).

Can you move soon so that we can tick off South Yorkshire?

Englishman (?) with a second home in Wales...brave man!

I think we need to stick with primary residence...

Hampshire. Originally from the great town of Gravesend. But had a season ticket when I lived in Kinross years ago.
