Scott seems happy, so should be ok

Well, he's got a relegation on his CV so that's a start 😅.

Seriously....welcome to the mad house & look forward to seeing you in action tomorrow.
You'll always find a negative, that's all you look for.

So I suppose the question we’ll look to answer over the coming months is ‘is he better than Sean Clare’ as I’m guessing financially it is cheaper
    Err...Who's Sean Clare..😉🤔

The big question is how match fit is he?
Missed a chunk of games at the start of last season, in the last 28 games or so he managed a full 90 in at least 22-3 of those.

So he's been more active than a crop of our recent signings, notably; Edun, Camara, Taylor.

Detailed stats can be found here: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tennai-watson/leistungsdaten/spieler/342018/plus/0?saison=2022

Doesn't seem to be a sick note but was hampered by 2 very recent hamstring injuries. I would say based on his run at the end of last season though, he may be ready to play.

Welcome Tennai, got a good feeling about this
Woulnt surprise me if the 2 recent hamstring injuries were his right one went after he bent down to pick up the pen after signing for us the the left one as he got in the car to leave sparrows lane.

Erm, it's Sean Flair, as he prefers to be addressed in the dressing room!  According a Wednesday friend.

As a right back he should be better than Clare, seeing that's his specialist position. Clare was more of a utility player.

Height used to be the worry but now it’s “can they last 15 mins?”

The answer will be "not at all obviously he hasn't been with a club since May and will need (insert number here) weeks to get up to speed in training"

dispiriting to find out we're scavenging from the dustiest forgotten recesses of the remainders bins
becoming clearer and clearer that Scott Rodwell and Methven are running a dog and pony show on an already frayed shoestring
    wankers

    Scott:
"He is hungry to come and challenge for the full-back positions against our two very talented players already at the club in Nathan Asiimwe and Tayo Edun. In those three we have competition for places with exciting, young, hungry players with excellent attitudes and ambition.”

Really? 3 full backs, one a fast-tracked kiddo competing for 2 places. Great stuff.

He'll most likely be very average.

Why is he released for nothing. If he was any good would they not want money for his contract.

Wanted out, and refused to sign the contract extension on offer...

turned down new contract, as he's 26 no fee due.

Hopefully we will get James Abankwah signed up as well now that would be good

just what I was going to ask. Less experienced (first team wise) than Ness, Elewere and Mitchell.

He's a strong hard working CB with pace
    IMO just what we need

Innis was strong and hard working, but not good enough for Charlton to keep for another season.

This is Charlton Athletic Football Club, we do not worry about trivialities such as a players fitness.
He'll be injured or red carded before he gets fit, so a minor detail. Welcome to 'The Shittest Shit Show in Earth.'

On a serious point, I don't blame him for wanting out of Milton Keynes, that's a gimme, but who has really made him an alternative better offer. Knowing our wage policy right now the other clubs were non-League.
    Jack Payne, nudge, nudge...

What a weird thing for Scott to acknowledge; that we only have one player to cover two full-backs? Asking for trouble but I suppose giving the striking situation, it passes for normal now.

I like how last summer when riding the sandgaard and garner penis train free signings transfer fees didnt mean anything but this summer's free signings are the first warning of the apocaylpse.

Thomas can cover at left-back I suppose.
