  • Two thirds through the innings and 149-6
  • 50 (56) for Stobo and 50 partnership between him and Stewart too

    170-6 (37)
  • 187-6 (40)

Big final 8 overs. If we can get another 60-70 then that might be a competitive score

Stobo and Stewart have just broken a 32 year old Kent record for the 7th wicket in List A cricket
  • Stobo stumped for 72 (79)

    206-7 (42.2)
  • Home comes from a family of half a dozen that have played cricket for Shropshire. He might be only 18 but is showing some real pace and currently has figures of 4-0-9-3 and has 12-114 in the competition to date from three matches
Stewart takes a likely to him and smacks him for 18 runs in 5 balls to go to his 50 (49)

    227-7 (44/48)
  • Qadri hits it down midwickets throat for 2 (4). Very important that our final two batsmen give Stewart as much of the strike as possible

    228-8 (44.2/48)

Parkinson doesn't read Charlton Life. Bowled second ball !!!
  • Can Gilchrist pat down the final two balls of the over to allow Stewart the chance to face the last 3 overs?
  • So they take a single off Gilchrist's first ball and then Stewart fails to get a single off the last ball. Remains to be seen if that was brain dead cricket to take that single!

Well it was pretty brain dead cricket because Gilchrist ends up scoring one run off the first 5 balls off the next over with Stewart taking a single off the final ball

    232-9 (46)
  • Stewart helps himself to two 4s and a 6 off the next over to take him beyond his best ever score in List A cricket

    251-9 (47/48)
  • 259 all out (47.3). Stewart bowled for a fantastic 78 (60) and thanks to him and Stobo, I think that we might have a competitive score
  • Well, thanks in spades to Stobo & Grant, the chubby lady took her time in clearing her throat !

What a great performance from those two with the latter rarely failing to put in a shift.

Let's see what our bowlers can do now.
  • It appears that, after taking into account DLS, Worcs have to match our total of 259 to win
  • Stewart has Pollock caught behind by Finch

    27-1 (4.5)
  • 42-1 (10)
  • We already have Agar coming back next season but I wouldn't be too sad if we could secure Stobo and Swanepoel too. Not sure that will happen though.
  • Gilchrist traps Roderick LBW and that is a big wicket given that Pollock has already gone

    76-2 (18.3)
  • 118-2 off 28 overs so Worcs require 141 off the final 20 overs

  • See our bowling is as effective as ever!
  • We've bowled just 4 overs of spin and we might finish with nothing but seamers too
  • Great one handed caught and bowled by Stewart to dismiss Jones

146-3 (32.4) so Hants require 113 runs off 15.2 overs
  • Sussex - Played 6 Lost 6

The ages of their team today were:

    18 - 1
    19 - 1
    20 - 4
    22 - 2
    23 - 1
    24 - 1
    30 - 1
  • 166-3 (36)

91 off the final 12 required
  • Brookes plants a full toss from Stobo to O'Riordan on the boundary

    177-4 (37.3)

    82 required off 10.3 overs
  • Harry Podmore once of Kent has announced his retirement from cricket today
  • Gilchrist with a caught and bowled

    200-5 (40.4)

    59 off 7.2
  • Might be a bit late but their main man Libby has run himself out for 74 (67)

    233-6

    26 off 27
  • Another wicket to Gilchrist

    238-7

    21 off 19
