Let's see what the differential is once Essex have taken your attack apart

nailed on 3 points for the away team
You may be right. Possibly three bowling points will be about all we get from the game.
  • Is our recruitment just picking people we meet up the pub, plus a cucumber juggler who might pass for a spinner in the twilight and a bloke who spelt 'Kent' right on the application form and knew the different ball colours in each competition?
I mean really, this is just pathetic. We were favourites for relegation, but this is just a surrender. Can we just declare all our remaining innings now and save on travel expenses? And maybe find some batsmen who can keep their concentration levels up for more than two overs?

To be honest, your suggested recruitment strategy may yield better results! We need a cucumber juggler!
  • A wicket for Garrett !

    96-2

And at a reasonable strike rate too. The guy left out of our 50 over side.

Back in 2022 we won the competition by playing our best available team, including Stevo who was released, and Robinson who we knew was leaving.

They'll need the last wicket first!

Virdie (FV average 9.62) is in danger of beating his highest ever score of 47 (if that doesn't get the final wicket, nothing will)
  • Kent game very finely poised at the moment!
  • Made me laugh they posted this on X when Warwickshire were 147/2

    As I keep saying, it's a gift!
  • In 2021 Miguel Cummins was our overseas seamer and took 6-622. This season Stewart is in danger of beating that with 6-553 to date.
  • 245-4 and a lead of 89 runs
  • 308-4 and a lead of 152
  • We are nothing if not consistent. Results from other red ball matches finishing today:

Kent U18s lost by 6 wickets to Essex
Kent 2s lost by 175 runs to Hampshire

  • Personally I think Warwicks could declare now and wrap this up this afternoon if they are in the mood, but why not compund our misery with a huge win.  This is just grim!
  • 389-6 and a lead of 233
  • 413-7 and a lead of 257

Rhodes 200* (291) - he's off to Durham at the end of the season
  • Blimey! How did that happen? 420 all out. A lead of 264.
  • 3 bowling points, can we shake hands on the draw now?
  • Compton, you pillock !

    7-1.

This is shocking reading, can’t surely be kept on
  • Not sure what Muyeye did to injure himself but I see that Finch opened instead. Currently 64-1 and just require the small matter of another 200 runs to make Warwickshire bat again.
  • 53* (58) for DBD

    83-1

    Finch 17* (56)
  • Get those dancing shoes out @Fanny Fanackapan Kent are heading towards an innings defeat.
