I’m convinced if we go down it will be the end of the club. We won’t average over 10,000 attendance. It becomes unsustainable (it already is to an extent). Going down will be a death sentence for the club.
I’m not sure, maybe rose tinted glasses from me but the owners clearly have money to spend. They’re too far in for them to walk away at what would be a huge loss if we get relegated. I think/hope they stick it out, we clear out the SMT and majority of the squad and start again with Jones and his team owning the decision making.
Getting rid of Dobbo is a (another!) massive mistake by Andy Scott. Dobbo is just the very sort of player you need to fight a relegation battle and is our captain. I think Nathan Jones will be able to turn it around, but not sure he has enough time to save us this season. Other than Alfie May there are now no fighters in the squad and in my view I think it more likely than not that we get relegated to division 4 for the first time in our history. How Andy Scott is still in his job is a miracle. He should have gone with Appleton. Very sad times for our once great club.
When are Aneke and Leaburn due back? They are our only hope as far as I can see. May isn’t the type of player to score a goal out of nothing. He needs service
So after seemingly decimating our squad of any real bite and intensity (Dobson and CBT) and leaving a squad that is completely devoid of leadership, technical ability and required fitness we are now relying on two players made of paper (Chuks and Camara) to get us out of the doggy doo??
Stuff of complete fantasy! Give your heads a wobble. Get down the bookies and lump on us departing this shit pit for an even worse one.
Burton Albion v Carlisle United Charlton Athletic v Lincoln City Cheltenham Town v Blackpool Fleetwood Town v Reading Peterborough United v Port Vale Shrewsbury Town v Barnsley
Two potential 6 pointers, could see Burton and Reading escape the relegation threat if they both win and Port Vale don't.

This 100%
It isn’t so much about whether or not people agree we will go down (I think we are all aligned now on that)…. It’s more I don’t think some realise quite how serious that will be for the ongoing health of our football club.
Have to agree, I've had a a season ticket now for 32 years, I'm really struggling for motivation to go now, League two may just see my seat become vacant for the 1st time since December 1992. When the fun stops stop............

Those Port vale games in hand are a real concern. Only positive thing is our goal difference being much better than most. Its all looking pretty scary, need a result tonight so badly.

Carlisle are down, we need to make sure a gap does not open from the team six bottom upwards.

After today only Fleetwood and Reading won't have games in hand on us.
Do you mean all the 38 players that have been used this season ?

But as Lennie used to say 'points in the bag are better than games in hand'
We're not staying up with a point here and there.
We're not staying up at all, IMHO.
It’s about being realistic with the facts in front of us.
Keep supporting the team, keep hoping for a miracle.
But the facts are that draws here and there won’t do it.
We would likely have to win nearly half of our remaining games to stay up.
I don’t think there is anything else to add.
