    Is there subtitles ?
Yep, but they're the automated youtube ones, so are likely to be of dubious quality.

Shall we have a go at new manager lingo bingo?

    I’m going for

    cultural
    environment
    mentality
    process
    vision
    long-term goals
    big club
    Potential
    Hard working values

Can't believe you missed "on the grass" - which I've ticked off "early doors"

Sounds like he has given up on reaching the play offs this season - booooo, Jones out!

On a serious note, love how he's coming across. I'm genuinely excited about a manager for the first time in years.

    Good interview.
    Lets hope for good results.
  • These things tend to be much of a muchness, and even then there’s a lot you expect to hear from a manager.

However I’m absolutely buzzing after that for some reason.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do just hope everyone doesn't go mental if we lose on Saturday, still loads of points to be played for after Saturday.
  • Came across really well, didnt tart anything up, we need to win games and hes well aware of that. Really excited for where this could go now

Feels you with confidence and has given a feel good factor when we are in such a poor run. I hope the atmosphere around the squad is the same.
  • Well, he's here to build something and I'm really excited by that. Some of us have been around long enough to know what that's like and how flipping good it feels.
He clearly believes he has the long term backing of the owners to make something good happen and I believe he can do it........ so, let's go Nathan Jones!

Got to be honest, I watched no more than about 5 minutes or so of Appletons interviews as I couldn't stand the bloke and knew he wasn't long term, same as Holden, only watched a few bits here and there.

I watched all of that, and I'll carry on watching as I think this is it. This is the manager we will talk about to the next generation.

(I say this and he'll walk after we get relegated to league 2)

Well, Appleton just came across as a dour northerner and it was everyone else's problem for not appreciating him.

Holden came across as a likeable northerner but was a snipers nightmare bobbing and weaving all the time.

So in that context all he's got to do is sound lively when he opens his mouth and keep still and he's onto a winner - which he did successfully!
  • Wow how good was that 🔥

great first interview and really got me excited for where he can take us

the bit about how much we have suffered but this is the start of a new era got me

No matter if our opinions differ we all have the same thing in common we love charlton and want our club to be successful again !!

COME ON NJ AND YOU REDSSSSSSS🔴🔴🔴🔴
