I watched Danny Hylton quite a bit at Aldershot - I’ve never seen a player give as much and try as hard as him- I wasn’t atall surprised when he got a decent move from Aldershot - he had limited footballing ability but made up for it in sheer determination.
He’s too old now but a guy that squeezed everything out of his ability !
New GK & lump up front are the biggest additions we need. Looking obvious our midfield will generally consist of Anderson, Coventry and another so a box to box midfielder who breaks up play will be very important too. We obviously need more but that's the glaring areas to me
I've heard the name of a player we are meant to be interested in and, whilst I don't personally know much about him, he definitely has the makings of a step up in quality

I like the thinking behind this , hasn't scored as many goals from midfield in the past couple of seasons but at 31 with bags of experience and being well known to NJ would definitely be a big upgrade in quality.
OK, so season's over and the transfer speculation starts. So far we've had Phillips, Bauer, Wiredu and Karlan Grant suggested as players we could sign. No mention of Fosu yet but I'm sure his time will come. Any other bets on former players who will be mentioned as good signings this window?

Not seen either of them play but if they are that similar, with similar stats (albeit TT's stats from a year ago pre injury) is Watt an upgrade there? Tough to tell with Taylor I guess given we've barely seen him! Got a feeling him and McGrandles will both prove decent L1 players but elsewhere.

Would be a good signing, but I think he might be more likely to be offered another year by Portsmouth.
Fraser Horsfall has been one of the best CBs in L2 over the past two seasons. I think he'd walk into our xi, captain material too.
It goes without saying we need wide players, we have zero options atm. Jodi Jones from Notts County would be a good addition. London boy who can play the ball, at 5 10" he pasts the highr test too.
Lewis Wing is another i'd like to see us go for. Had a good season in poor Reading team. Has lot's of experience and would filla slot we desperately need filling.
