Millwall's Shaun Hutchinson seems to be quoted as a target quite a lot elsewhere. Think he would be good in L1.
Many years ago we signed a Millwall legend Harry Cripps who helped us to promotion in 74/75.0

If he's playing badly we can say get him off the bore.0

Don’t mind signing an older more experienced player, but would prefer them to have played more games last season than Hutchinson hasRichard J said:Millwall's Shaun Hutchinson seems to be quoted as a target quite a lot elsewhere. Think he would be good in L1.

Salty (& vinegar ) old character as I remember.Richard J said:Millwall's Shaun Hutchinson seems to be quoted as a target quite a lot elsewhere. Think he would be good in L1.

Greg Doherty released from Hull, I wonder if he's one were looking at still9

He didn't want to move down south last time we tried for him. Wonder if Jones can persuade him...YannTheMann said:Greg Doherty released from Hull, I wonder if he's one were looking at still2

Be a very decent replacement for Dobbo, similar style and work rate perhaps with a touch more ability with the ball.ButtleJR said:

If he doesn't want to move down south then you'd think there would be a few northern league one clubs who'd be interested that he'd prefer over us.1

Ian Poveda out of contract. From London. Linked with us last season. Championship quality. Championship teams rumoured to be chasing him so unlikely.0

Bound to bring in a centre back or two so how about....
 1. Tyler Bindon from Reading. 19yr old centre back. Played 40 games last season. Just won their young player of the year award. Is there a deal to be done whilst they still have their bad owner?
 2. Zak Jules at Exeter is on a free and another player worth looking at. I see he popped up online yesterday..

Don't know if the mods are changing this to January 2025, but I am today year old when I figured out Rak-Sakyi has a brother. Doubt he'll swap Europa CL football for mid table league one, but a young player like that I would have on loan to fire this side up. Also thought E. Nwaneri would be decent (before he played too many games for Arsenal)

 b) Sam Rak-Sakyi played against us a
few weeks ago for Chelsea U21s and looked fairly unremarkable0

We could certainly do with a decent loan signing or 2. In recent seasons the majority of our loans have been a disaster, with the likes of Fiorini, Ladapo, Matt Penney, Tedic, Abankwah, Harry Arter, Nile John, Levitt, Chem Campbell and two Matt Smith's.JustFloydRoad said:Don't know if the mods are changing this to January 2025, but I am today year old when I figured out Rak-Sakyi has a brother. Hard to recall too many good ones. I can only think of Rak-Sakyi, Famewo and Maatsen. Maybe i've missed 1-2 others but overall our loan success rate is terrible since we had Cullen and Gallagher.0

Would love a Liam Millar esque wide player that can score and create. But that's never happening under Jones.0
