I remember earlier in the season when he said Kanu was the best at closing down he had seen in his career!
Godden's a great pro and the urgency when he took that quick throw after we went 1-1 showed we went for the Jugular and got our reward when Matt couldn't get out the way of the Orient keeper for the winner😁

  • He's a top guy.
  • why did they need the music in the background?

Because otherwise you'd hear a lot of clanking and crashing and ambient coffee shop noise

Poor of them not to shut the coffee shop down when Sir Matt has graced them with his presence

With respect, if you are struggling to hear the interview it is worth getting your ears tested. It is easy to lose hearing without realising and you might be missing out on lots of stuff! That interview is well mixed and the audio levels are good.
  • well done mate :) did u film it?

    Pardon?
It was a genuine piece of advice. Apologies to @Redhenry if it didn't come across that way. Our ears are really sensitive and it's possible to lose a lot of your hearing without having any idea at all, it can be totally random. I used to work editing audio and around a lot of loud noises so always got my hearing tested regularly. It's genuinely quite interesting and something we should all do more. We all know about getting our eyes tested but most people won't get their ears tested until there's a problem, ears are important!
  • If you're in your seat early enough tonight..... towards the end of the warm-up session..... when they're doing shooting practice in the temp goal in the NW corner........ watch how Matty shoots compared to the others..... the ball just flies...

Nicky Bailey was always my favourite to watch do the shooting drill. Not sure I saw him hit the target in 2 seasons!
  • Seems like a really likeable fella. Modest but with an air of confidence which can only help in and around the squad going into the run in

Nw @fenaddick I've had a lot worse. I just found the background music unnecessary :)
  • Don’t think I have ever seen a striker work so hard on Tuesday without getting a sniff of a chance …
