Yeah call it clash of the titans or clash of the favourites, or a game fit for Hollywood or something other bullshit.
If 1st placed Man City played 6th placed Brighton tonight, would it be billed as a Top Of The Table Clash?
A lot of the time a "top of the table clash" doesn't mean just the top 2. Usually its about the top 4 or 6......teams that could go top (or 2nd) with a win.
Same for a "relegation 6-pointer". Doesn't mean the bottom 2, but teams in the relegation zone....so bottom 3 or 4.
But you all know that & just being pedantic....and slightly pissed off that these 2 are getting the hype.
Can see the step up from L2. Mullin (I know it’s only been 15 mins), Lee, O’Connell, Palmer, Cleworth all look out of their depth
I think it’s a bit unfair to judge anyone in this league when playing against a team that spent over £30,000,000 on transfers.
Expect a lot of teams and players will look out of their depth.
Can tell the difference between looking like a L1 player and a L2 player though. Maybe they’ve just had a stinker but if you can’t get up for a game like this as a player then you’re going to struggle
I also love that all we relied on last season was May scoring and "we need to score more across the team" and now we've scored 6 goals with 6 different players and "no-ones scored more than once"

Talk about fitting a narrative
I mean the 'narrative' is that we aren't creating and finishing enough chances.
May was good at finishing chances. Pretty simple.
46 goals in a season isn't getting us promoted, sorry.

It was quite clear his head had gone.
Exactly
Simple maths. And the table is based on points & then Goal Difference. Not clean sheets.
Couldn't give a shit if we didnt keep another clean sheet between now & the end of the season as long as we scored 2 more than our opponents.

3-1 up and they were still intent on being dirty bastards.

We don't need to score 2 more than our opponents. We need to score 1 more than our opponents.
