Early days but don't think we're giving NJ enough credit for switching up how we play. We've gone from a defensive side, hoping to nick a goal and hold on, to one that takes it to the opposition...even West Ham away FFS!! This without spending a lot of money and showing faith in the youth who some would have bombed out of the club this summer. Long may it continue.21

Doing what he said he would do. Evolving the squad and the manner in which we play. Early days , but if we get to 10 games with positive results could be a very good season.Well happy for him , he works hard but gets the results with far less budget than other teams.8

But I think he's only on that list because we're a London club who've made a decent start and it's lazy journalism - I dont think they'd go for him. Their fans would demand some perceived 'big name' or an ex-player - can absolutely see Parker happening.

Two reasons I can see Jones staying at Charlton even if roles at "big" clubs become available.
1. He's been biten twice at Soton and Stoke where he wasn't allowed the time to implement his regime. At Charlton, and Luton, he's built teams in his image gradually over seasons and has had success. The board here stuck with him when it was going badly and he now seems to have their trust and backing. He may now realise the grass isn't always greener.
2. "Big" clubs wanting instant results to turn things around will look at his failures at Stoke and Soton and feel that having flopped twice he's not for them. He needs time to put his plans in place and few clubs are willing to give any manager that.

Hard to disagree with this but I have two caveats. I wonder how hard it would be for him if the Wales job came knocking ? I genuinely believe NJ still sees us as his project. I don’t see anyway he leaves no matter who comes calling. He will be here until the “he has taken as as far as he can” time occurs in a couple of years2
