Slightly disagree with @LouisMend ‘s analysis of the Leaburn Oshilaja penalty area incident on Charlton Live. Bear with me…
He said going back to look at the replays he thought Leaburn initiated the contact when he had his hand on Oshi’s shoulder. Therefore, he said, it should’ve been a foul against Charlton rather than a penalty for Charlton.
I disagree, I think. Although Leaburn did contact Oshi’s shoulder, the contact imho wasn’t really sufficient for it to warrant a foul. It wasn’t serious enough for Oshi to fall over or anything. Football is a contact sport, and if those sort of contacts were given as a foul every time, then the game would grind to a halt many more times than it does already. I believe the contact only really merited a foul when Oshilaja wrestled Miles to the ground. At that point there was enough interference for it to be deemed a penalty.
I really wanted to edit more, but the subtitles are so much work to do, as a.i. picks up mine and a lot of others voices funny. I spent 2-3 hours editing the original, and my PC crashed and lost it all, so I thought, 'I ain't doing that again' 😂
Anyway, hope it's an ok first one back, appreciate any support as usual.
If anyone hasn't subscribed yet, please consider it* I'd be grateful.
And finally if anyone wants to ever be a part of my videos please approach me and save me getting rejected by fans, I already get enough of that from women.

Of course none of that matters, but hey ho.
Yes, the key part of that incident was Leaburn getting his foot to the ball before it went out, keeping it in. It wasn't a foul and it caught Oshi out. Leaburn was in position to get to the ball and Oshi pulled him back. Such an obvious pen I am surprised some can't see it for what it was.
Something that interests me about football and we are not just talking about this season, but how when things are going badly we can almost find a way to lose a game with an inevitability that doesn't make sense. What is fascinating is watching Man City. One of the top teams in europe if not the World. The thing is, I expected Man Utd to equalise on Sunday even though they are crap and when they did that, I expected United to get a winner. It is the same where you expect teams to beat us or indeed us to beat ourselves. The United penalty was a case of beating yourself. It is a fragility that is all the more interesting when good teams suffer from it. I suppose it sums up the human element in football and the part confidence, or lack of it, plays.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the ONLY way we're matching Man City these days.
BigDiddy - We weren't terrible. We were, however, against Orient.
The Orient game, Crawley and Bristol Rovers had something in common, a changed and some would say a weakened midfield. The Crawley game had Taylor, Coventry and Allan Campbell in advanced role, it got over-run as Taylor and Coventry are not the best defensively, the Bristol game we had Berry in the advanced role and Anderson and Coventry in the middle, once again the same result, the Orient game had a complete mish mash of players with Dixon given a go. We brought three players into the club in the summer to strengthen our midfield, Berry, Docherty and Campbell have not produced any sort of form so far this season, I thought that Bakinson would have been a better asset to the squad, but Jones chose the above three, that's not been proved to be a wise decision so far.
For those who want rid of NJ you need him to walk away because he will cost too much to pay off.
Very likely but how would it compare with the amount required for contracts of the new players some feel we need in January ?
Advised today that money isn't really a problem for our minted owners ....but it's about how it's spent.
Get rid of the Terrible Three and free up even more cash.
It's not my money of course but would be great if they were to spend some of it to get us on a good footing to get out of this pitiful division! That would be my Christmas wish!
Nice to listen to a calm clear managerial interview! For the Mansfield fans gave nice insights, without being too cliched and no histrionics. Obviously a bit biased and of course focussed towards Mansfield

I agree - a very insightful and measured interview. Nigel Clough is a quality manager and football man (and why wouldn't he be). Anyone who took Burton from the Southern Football League Premier Division into the EFL and then into the Championship in his second spell - keeping them there for a second season on a minuscule budget - deserves the utmost respect. It may not have worked out so well at Derby and Sheffield United but he's had great success at Mansfield.
He's absolutely right about the his team's support - 1,500 plus is a great turnout for a club that averages less than 8,000 at home, especially near Christmas, albeit that The Valley will have been a new ground for most of them. They also made a lot of noise and helped generate a bit of atmosphere, despite the low turnout in home areas.
A final thought about the game generally. We were probably fortunate that Lee Gregory (7 league goals in 12 games) was still out injured because if any of their three good chances had fallen to him, Mansfield would probably have got back on the bus with all three points.
Well done to Nigel Clough, very knowledgeable and must be good to have around thier well run footie club.
I am sure he is pretty tough around the training ground and the changing room, but again no doubt very professional, and their players respond, certainly wish them well for the rest of the season👍

If that's the case why was NJ giving his mates contracts instead of going out & buying quality players. How much did we actually spend in the summer, obviously wages, agent fees etc are a cost but we spent virtually nothing on transfer fees, why are we scraping the barrel with our signings ?

Because whilst the owners are minted they don’t want to invest big in us, what they give us is like them buying a scratch card, loose change

Sorry not a rant at you Fanny just a useless transfer window when "money isn't a problem"

Happy rest of week all
1) we were terrible in this game - could easily has lost it
2) Jones is useless - Get rid of him
Nothing more to say
Is there any reality where we start actually putting together a run of results and play football that isn't a cup of cold sick?
That would be my Christmas wish!
