Absolutely livid! I’ve just found my mum was refused her carer ticket that she’s entitled to due to her disability for home leg of the playoffs, are the club really that desperate for a few quid that they are willing to shit on someone who’s had a season ticket since 2011 that are willing to put her in danger of a fall with no one around to help?
Absolutely disgusting.
If anyone can tell me where to direct my complaint, please let me know.
The Supporter’s Liaison rep, and CADSA
Are you sure on ‘refused’ mate? I know the online ticket system can’t support the carer ticket, but speaking to the ticket office via phone should resolve that. If she is ambulant disabled, she is entitled to a carer ticket. If she already utilises a carer ticket with her season ticket, she would already have provided DWP letter confirming disability
It would not give me the option of my season ticket ambulant disabled mate & carer either when I went on line, either tho all on my account, had no trouble’s before, but when I edited both to adult,it then allowed me to purchase…so fear of missing out I just bought the adult tickets…😡
Phone the club, get the ticket changed to a Helper ticket, request a refund. You shouldn’t be paying for something someone is entitled to just because the online system cannot process helper tickets and the club haven’t resolved something they should have resolved 5 years ago

Exactly - the ticket office staff always bend over backwards (in my experience) for stuff like this.
If the crux of the matter is providing evidence for the entitlement - then they'll talk you through that. If this bears no fruit on the call, just buy the extra ticket and enjoy the match - make your complaint etc after the event. Whatever you do don't miss out on the match for this.
I would have willingly paid more so agree the home play off ticket represents good value. Mind you, it is better value if we win......which we will of course. I am looking forward to the atmosphere. There is little to compare with a rocking Valley. I hope the owners come and see it for themselves. It will show them the potential of our great club.
@Stu_of_Kunming I've logged in on my dad's account and the ticket website is absolute garbage, there's a bug not allowing the carer ticket to be bought. Possibly the same bug your mum/sister encountered. Phone 'em up today, they'll sort it.
I reported earlier that when the tickets went on sale to ST holders, I found that only two of our three seats has been made available to me. My son had his own Fan ID and was able to log in himself, but (like so many others) he wasn’t able to buy his own seat so he bought another seat in the next block. After several attempts, and 15 minutes on hold, I spoke to someone in the ticket office today and she was able to sort it all out for us and the three of us will now be together for the game. I am conscious of criticism levelled by some at ST holders for doing what we did, but I reckon there must be several hundred of us who are neither selfish nor stupid for doing what we did. The ticketing system simply did not offer a way for my son to get his usual seat, as others will attest. It has now all been sorted to our satisfaction and the “other” seat has already been snapped up.
Firstly this is not a dig at you & I am in no way moaning the fact that you have a ticket and I am still unable to buy one until 11am tomorrow.
But can you, or any other ST holder on here explain the mentality of your decision last Sunday to buy a ticket in another part of the ground when the IT system wasn't letting you buy your own seat. I'm just curious as to the thought process & panic mode you were in to think that on day 1 of 12 you had to buy a ticket, any ticket, that day even though there are less than 8000 ST holders in a ground that holds 24k home supporters. Did you really think that if you didn't buy one right now that they would sell out before the end of the day ?
Is it a fear of missing out (FOMO) or some sort of siege mentality. Are you one of those who panic bought all the toilet rolls in the early days of the pandemic in fear of going without even though there had been no mention of short supplies ? I'm interested because I don't recall this happening before on here & wondered if anyone would agree that if they had been more measured then by Tuesday everything would have been back to normal, the IT system problems would have (and did) get sorted out and you now wouldn't have to be ringing the ticket office trying to exchange tickets for your "held" season ticket seat.

There are 2 separate single tickets in the covered end on the site right now. Worth checking every now and again this afternoon.

The website was a car crash to operate for IT-literate season ticket holders, let alone those less capable. There was a time constraint to retain season ticket seats, which has since been extended. Bugger being on the ticket phone line for ages at such a peak time. Buy tickets, resolve later. That's not panicking, it's the rational thing to do.

Was still waiting for home leg tickets purchased Monday morning , managed finally (only after a brief wait on hold) to speak to someone in the ticket office just now who has forwarded them on straight away and now received.

1. As shown by the growing attendances over the last few matches, and the attendance we got for Doncaster, the demand for tickets for this was always going to be high.
2. With ST and VG getting 4 each a large proportion of tickets were going to be sold before going onto General Sale.
3. Only a small perchance of the fan base look at this site and social media in depth so would not have the high level knowledge to know their seats had been reserved in the way some of us know.
4 Having waited in a queue for ages on line and then faced with instructions which were not clear or what the club had originally posted they would be, many would have thought I just to need to get any tickets.
5. When calling up many could not get through, so were forced back to the website.
This is why so many I suspect season ticket holders did purchase other seats and not to be awkward to any other supporters. Through choice nearly all would have wanted their seats.
This narrative re blaming the supporters which you and a few others have git I to is complete OTT.
And for the record I purchased my season tickets on line.
How many tickets do we estimate will be made available tomorrow?
I don't think it's going to be that many to be honest.. we have 8k ST holders if 25% of them have bought in different areas then there are 2000 available tomorrow. I suspect it will be of that magnitude

Good find, thank you! I'll have to remember this one!
The default value the ticket system puts in is 'Helper', and that errors because 'Helper' isn't ordinarily selectable as an option. Altering it to 'Adult' is full price. But buying two 'Ambulant Disabled' does indeed work - the second one being free.

I think it'll be a lot less than that. Over the last few days tickets have been coming up on a regular basis online as season ticket holders swap back for their original seats. I'm thinking more like 500 max.

Tickets were initially put on sale to ST & Valley Gold members and as we qualified on both counts we tried to get our three ST seats together. No panic, we were in the first qualifying group so let’s get it done. I was surprised to find, when I clicked on the little red box, that only my daughter and I could get our seats. To this day I don’t know why that was. As my son had his own Fan ID, I decided to get the two tickets in the expectation that he would be able to get his own. He wasn’t around at the time and there was no rush. In fact when he did log in he had to change his password. When he did get to his page he found he couldn’t get his own seat? What we did think was important was that he should get a ticket as he is our driver and he also helps my daughter and me up and down the steep steps in the AC stand. So he bought a ticket in the next block. It became apparent that many others were having the same issue of not being able to buy their ST seats. We were quite relaxed about it, having secured three tickets anyway, and as others were pointing out, the ticket office would fix it, which they did. I’m not convinced that the IT issues have been fixed. We weren’t able to do anything about it online. And if I hadn’t been able to speak to the ticket office today, we would have just carried on with the original two + one tickets anyway. Not the end of the world. So the whole process was just a bit more complicated than it should have been. We weren’t in panic mode or having FOMO, or in siege mentality, and, no I didn’t stockpile toilet rolls (how very dare you). Good luck with getting a ticket. I’m sure you will. We need Chuks and you both to be fully available for the second leg!

If he acquired the offered ticket from Bailey or bought one of the hundreds that have gone back up for sale in the last few days it would stop being all about him.
He hasn't got time to do that, yet he has got time to post on here continually, telling us that he hasn't got time to say a simple yes to Bailey who has twice offered him a FREE ticket.

I don't think this is the case - I'm seeing ticket availability when I'm logged out, and can add tickets to the basket. But I don't have a non-ST account to see if a transaction can be made.
Season ticket seats are being reserved until 11am tomorrow. But ongoing ticket purchases are not limited to season ticket holders. That's just my understanding and I well may be wrong, the forum will call it out if so.

You've been able to buy tickets as a non ST holder since Monday
What was stopping the club putting the home leg tickets for home fans a week or two back? With an opposition team TBA & KO time TBA. Many fans would attend regardless of the unknowns and it would have reduced the pressure on the club’s infrastructure once known.

If the crux of the matter is providing evidence for the entitlement - then they'll talk you through that. If this bears no fruit on the call, just buy the extra ticket and enjoy the match - make your complaint etc after the event. Whatever you do don't miss out on the match for this.

This narrative re blaming the supporters which you and a few others have git I to is complete OTT.
And for the record I purchased my season tickets on line.
The default value the ticket system puts in is 'Helper', and that errors because 'Helper' isn't ordinarily selectable as an option. Altering it to 'Adult' is full price. But buying two 'Ambulant Disabled' does indeed work - the second one being free.
He hasn't got time to do that, yet he has got time to post on here continually, telling us that he hasn't got time to say a simple yes to Bailey who has twice offered him a FREE ticket.
Our very own Stuwall.
Attention seeking, it always is.
Season ticket seats are being reserved until 11am tomorrow. But ongoing ticket purchases are not limited to season ticket holders. That's just my understanding and I well may be wrong, the forum will call it out if so.
