Jump on a train from Dartford straight into Chatham. Pubs just round the corner I believe.0 -
Think I am gonna have to set up a women free clique :-)0

Out of Chatham station, turn to your right and you'll see the pub... bit odd as it's on a roundabout.....0
-
Ill put it to the fellas tonight dont think they will mind diverting for a pint to Chatham0
-
Brown town Gillingham is the next stop down the line and they are trains pretty regular, a taxi would only set you back about a fiver between three so it's not a logistical nightmare that should not involve any form of splitting.
The Alex is indeed on a roundabout and provides a good view of the Chatham locals gettng their super T's fix under the statue with a cone on it's head.
Lagers are Oranjeboum, Hurlemans, and Holsten Export.
Fruit based drinks and a selection of wines for the ladies.
For the more hardcore the O'Connels (formerly the bullseye) is a shithole, spit and sawdust pub but does good guinness.0 -
Taxi would take a lot longer than a train... Train is no hassle from there0
-

Oranjeboum
People actually drink that shit?0 -

Lagers are Oranjeboum, Hurlemans, and Holsten Export.
That selection right there has a big sign saying no to me, Shepheard Neame = sh*t and scream0 -
What's the matter with you? It's what puts hairs on yer chest!!
Hurlemans = Anger/wife beating
Holsten = Trying to be posh
Oranjeboum = Good times.
I'll get you a white wine spritzer in mate ;-)0 -
and your arse!!0
-
I'll make sure my arse is there too. Just for you mind0

Neame's are bliss! Spitfire on tap... Late Red on tap... starting with a pint of Early Bird. I'll be quite happy in the corner with my flat cap, pipe and slippers...0
-
It means it HAS it's windows changed every few weeks.
For those who don't fancy the Alex the Statue seating area is a much populated and lively area to enjoy a Saturday afternoon drink or two.0 -
And you can get a hair cut right next to the statue, at the hairdressers in the underpass along with the public toilets.
Real nice0 -
Right this thread is nearly at a ton & we are still no closer to a meeting time.
I take it we are meeting at the Alexandra in Chatham at ........?0 -

Between 11 and 12, looking to be at the Livingstone by one.
Howzat?0 -

That was my plan anyway, its a step up from oranjeshite ;-)0 -
I think we should be able to get this topic to over 100 easily. would that be a record for a pre season friendly?0
