  • I'd still like him even with Razak here.

Agreed. If Abdul plays every game he is available for he will play 17 matches. Loan ends before we play Watford away on 1st January. Long way and a lot of points to be fought for after that.

    Beehive?

  • Owt is actually a Northern word for anything not any. Sorry BIG_ROB but had you said 'owt new(no's')' then that would have been correct. Sorry to be a pedant.
  • Owt means 'anything/nothing' in most of the contexts I've heard it spoken up here in t'north (as in 'do you want owt from t'chippy, fettler?'). But the variations, even from town to town, can vary considerably.

  • Talking of "owt news" I wonder why operation pig has not been posting recently ? Could it be because all that we've signed blah blah blah and Wendy are in the shite ?

I would say definitely a no, now that we have Razak on loan.
I expect Razak will end up staying for the season if a success as Man C are out of the League cup and should progress in the champions league this time. ie No games for him at city this year.
If Razak is a success we may even be in with a chance to sign him.
Better to look at younger players. NRC is too expensive and although not old, old enough as to be a shorter term prospect.
I think we have enough experience. Need a striker and a quality winger over cm now.

I don't think we need a winger, Green and Kerkar been doing ok. Just a STR for me now, dont even want a LB.

I's surprised you don't think we could do with a winger. I think the last few games have shown their importance and even though Green and Kerkar are now playing I think a bit more quality and competition would help down the flanks.

we do have Evina, JJ and Cook able to play LM though and Waggy at RM. I don't think its a priority at all really.

He might well stay for the season but will disappear for 8 or so matches in the new year for the African Cup of Nations.

We don't have a chance of signing Razak on a perm basis, if we do I'll eat your hat!

As for NRC, no news in south china.
