Must of been quite good for Roma to offer him a 5 year contract but he didn't play much there , again one of RDs teams.

Not confirmed anywhere but I believe it. We could do with a right back that can also play wing back and he's from one of RD's teams.

Yes but in this case Muttley, we've just changed owners.

Not unreasonable for players to want some assurances that the new owners, at least at this time, intend to keep employing the man who wants to sign them.

You only have to look at Zaha's situation to see how a managerial change can screw a players career up - at least in the short term.

Think that was more about dipping his pen*** in the company* ink**

    Note - * may mean "Manager's"
    ** - may mean "Daughter"
    *** - means penis

That is actually really good news. Laurie Wilson at RM will become a much bigger charlton presence and will start getting the respect he deserves from some.

That's some drop - Roma to Ujpest by 23!
  • He's not played much for a 23 year old.

@TheLikael: @Lbts7 Hey Mate, probably the worst player on our squad :( can play LW or St, average tech, average finish, low header :( Not a good one :(

This is the review on gooch! I was looking forward to signing him until I read that.

@TheLikael: @Lbts7 Nego was quite good not the best, but good mental, good defense and offense.

Powell would get the best out of him!!! Its right back cover, I'd take him.

From the you tube video I just saw he's also been played as a left back. Might be the end of Evina if it became permanent

Well he must have something about him for Roma to have taken him. Worrying about Solly though. They obviously found out he's out for a while. Again.

Are you sure this is Reza Ghoochannejhad he is talking about because Iv'e heard he's pretty good. They may be thinking of Reza en Dudu Biton who Is apparently poor.

"Bought his registration" as opposed to loan. Looks like we have signed him.

  • Agree it sounds like it's a permanent.

I read it like that to, I guess it would be for £0 as RD owns both clubs involved in the deal.

I agree, but in the future could this be used as a way to cook books between clubs? Inflated fees etc if one is in trouble!?

Yep but he did also say this,
@TheLikael: @Lbts7 In fact Reza doesn't play that much, he is our 5th ST. maybe with confidence he will be good ...
  • its all going to get very interesting this next few days , signing players from with his camp, leaves money to grab other players as it is not really a spend

if we can grab RB as cover and goochi I can see some of powells more localised targets coming in

Right back cover while Solly is out.

    No good.

Fails the height test. Only 5 foot 11 and half inches tall.

I just think it will all work out, I do not know that for sure,

If Powell was going to be sacked I think it would've happened by now, Roland doesn't really care for contracts of mgrs. he has shown that at his other interests if Powell signed a 1,2 or 3 yr I doubt it would influence the decision to retain or let go

There could well be others involved in the footballing direction and decision process that maybe are not in the club right now, perhaps a DOF this may be worth considering as to why things haven't all been concluded, but may be happening in the background this also is not 100% just something that has been mentioned to me and I am trying to ascertain if it has legs,

Understand Prothero is staying on. No idea what he'll be doing.

Umm. Surely Chief Exec would be a full time post. Maybe he's doing a day a week in the box office.

You remind me of Ray Finkle and Prothero is Dan Marino

Right back cover while Solly is out.

Unlikely, more likely cover for Wilson at right back in competition with Charlton Under 21 right back. Wilson will still be right back. Underwhelmed by this move.
  • Yann must not be allowed to leave. My guess is that he just needs to feel loved rather more by the new owner than the last lot. Contract please!
