Rejected for Millwall... that really smartsThe Red Robin said:Simeon Jackson:

Simeon Jackson still in Germany.

Rumour yesterday was we only offered him a short deal - so a 2 1/2 year deal will always be preferred - even if its Millwall. The Red Robin said:Simeon Jackson:

A Pole has been seen outside the Training Ground...3 -
Leave churchy alone. He works for the team and always puts in 200 percent. Pick on Wilson or dervitte before digging him out1

I call shenanigans - that's a foreign road. Are you saying we've missed out on Polish PeteForeverAddickted said:

To be honest I find this whole new RD model for running a network of football clubs fascinating. The guy has put up the cash to buy the club, is funding losses of 5-6 million a year & is now trying something new to make successes of all his clubs. And he has every right to do exactly that. Will it work? Who knows, but the ride should be exciting & unpredictable.
He will have an eye on long-term success, but I'm sure he will be hoping to avoid relegation this season. And if we are relegated, he has structured the purchase price so that the impact on him is less than it would have been. He's obviously a very intelligent guy who has already been a huge success in business. Now he has a new interest & he is trying to do something different. Good luck to RD & I'm going to watch how this all pans out with great interest. So let's all buckle up & see exactly what transpires.10 -

Celtic's patience may be about to pay off, with Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths pictured arriving in Glasgow for talks. Neil Lennon saw three bids for the frontman knocked back, but is now set to add a proven marksman to his ranks.0

Lucky escape here:
We are hearing that Barnsley are poised to sign Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on a deal until the end of the season.4 -
Not really that worried about Simeon Jackson, if we had got him then it would have been nice but its unclear if he will be able to come back and do the business at this level immediately.1

That explains the long drive...The Red Robin said:Lucky escape here:

Glad to read this, so there're people out there with their own agendas or panic-assuming that's undermining Powell and RD and ultimately the club! Steve Dixon, your card is marked! ;-)0

It's going be a very interesting day, just hope we don't sell anyone else other than Yann.0

Very encouraging noises. Politically deft he is, but I kind of needed to hear that.ShootersHillGuru said:

He's pretty much obliged to put out that sort of message, as long as he is an employee of the club and wishes to remain so. All conspiracy theories remain valid until there's a picture of him on the website smiling as he signs his new contract.ForeverAddickted said:

Whilst that's good to read, Powell is hardly likely to say anything different and admit to not being happy or having problems with RD. To me it reads as worded very carefully as we know Powell is good at. I do believe though, that despite what's going on, he wants to stay as manager and isn't going to walk.0
