Be interesting to see if any of the CAFC back room staff turn up at Blackpool. Or Alex Dyer?

Didn't Dyer play for Blackpool ?

Poor old Jose's had a buy a new tie.

Be interesting how he manages a whole season. I'd wish him good luck but at this moment in time Blackpool are likely to be down there with us so I'm not sure I want to.

Can't be many managers that turn up in the space of 1 or 2 games as manager for both the away and home team.

I love Jose, real shame he didn't stay. I really wish him well in the future wherever he goes, I can see a really bright future for him. He did a great job here.

Edit. Just seen he has now signed as manager for a club. Rubbish, doesn't have a clue what he's doing, hope he crashes and burns, useless for us, utter joke, one suit wanker.

By his own admission this is how Peeters got the Charlton gig.

Good luck Jose. Like many people I quite warmed to him while he was with us and he did pretty good job in the end. I jut have this feeling in my waters that it isn't going to go so well at Blackpool though. Not really sure why, just have my doubts.
  • Pardew big nosed so and so.....go down with record low points ;)

I wish him well but also wish a plague upon the house of bloomfield road...we need as many teams as possible to be worse than us

I get the horrible feeling that this coming season we're going to need a lot of other teams to be worse than us. It's going to be a tough one, methinks.

Pleased to see Jose getting signed up but sorry it's not with us.

Bob Peeters had better be good. We need him to be.

More chance of Gus coming out of retirement.

Just seen his first interview there. Apparently they only have 6 players under contract!

Maybe he can sign the Charlton players that are out of contract!

I will settle for us finding three!
  • How Riga gets on at Blackpool will be interesting as it will, probably, demonstrate a couple of things:

    (1) Can he build a squad - researching and selecting players for the Championship
    (2) Just how good was our squad last season. I don't want a barrage of Pro Powell biting at my ankles but maybe, just maybe, it wasn't that great an achievement to get the points that Riga got for us with the players he had available. I'm not saying that Powell did badly, necessarily, but if Riga is not good at (1) above and had a better squad with us, than many think, then he might find it very tough at Blackpool!

His number two has already resigned. Wouldn't be surprised.
