As a hammer, my dad'll be happy I guess. No consolation to me though.
Best of luck with the neck ache as you watch the ball sail over you Diego.6 -
See you Diego. Thanks for all you have done in your twenty plus games for us. I hope you have a long career at the Academy of football

Fulham recently made a bid for him (according to Sky Sports) which was turned down. I expect this is his way of forcing it through.PopIcon said:Keep dreaming, no chance of us signing McCormack. He will be sold for serious dosh.
If anyone thinks we will be buying players of that calibre (eg Jordan Rhodes) then you seriously need to go and seek help.2 -

Maybe it's part of the new revolution Allardyce has been forced to accept from Brady and the porn kings, in which case they got themselves an absolute steal. Just hope we get some decent compensation for him otherwise I will be sick to the stomach watching him turn out for them. In fact regardless of the money I will be sick to the stomach if he plays for them.BetterCallSaul said:

I think its a good move for him, it will be interesting to see how he develops. we need to move on and I am hopefully that we will do without too much pain looking at the signings we are making, Buyens might well be the perfect replacement.0

Morrison is a totally different player, anyone know what Moussa's position is, does he play in central mid or wide?0

Will this lead to comparisons with Jermaine Defoe and result someone guaranteed to score against us every time he plays at the Valley?charlton_hero said:Pete O'Rourke @SkySportsPeteO · 9m

I'd take Collison on loan in exchange + compo. Just what we need if we could keep him fit.

All these people talking about exchanges. You do know that as he is out of contract, they don't owe us anything in exchange? Unless you can use players / loans to offset the compo due which I have never seen before.0
-
I'm sure you can agree something without needing to get compensation settled independently. I hope we put a big sell-on clause in there, as he has potential to be sold again for big money.0

Hatton did win though, well most of the time. The Red Robin said:
Reminds me of the way Ricky Hatton used to think he could balloon in-between fights and still be fit enough to go out there and win.ValleyGary said:Paddy Kenny is a piss taker. No pro footballer should let themselves get like that.

who, Poyet ?? where did you see/hear that ??MattTeesHeader said:Signed on a 4 year deal
Of all the teams he could sign for, W Ham are the one I like the least. They stole Defoe, stole the Olympic Stadium & are one of our rivals (sod Palace, W ham are closer)0 -
Just about sums the whole situation up that.
Wet Spam
Olympic Stadium
Poyet
Hate modern football.
Good luck Diego though.0 - Sponsored links:

This is what happened with Sturridge, obviously a bigger name and better established but shows what can be achieved.
With Sturridge's contract at Manchester City expired, he signed for Chelsea on a four-year contract on 3 July 2009.[ As Sturridge was under the age of 24,and the two sides were unable to agree a deal, the fee for Sturridge was decided by a tribunal. The Professional Football Compensation Committee decided on 14 January 2010 that Chelsea would pay an initial fee of £3.5 million, with additional payments of £500,000 after each of 10, 20, 30 and 40 first-team competitive appearances. There would also be a further payment of £1 million if Sturridge made a full international appearance, and Manchester City in addition would receive 15 percent of any sell-on fee if Sturridge was transferred.1 -
yeah i'd be happy with that :-D. Not likely to be what we get though.Southbank said:This is what happened with Sturridge, obviously a bigger name and better established but shows what can be achieved.

We're entitled to compensation due to his age and the fact we offered him a contract. Usually decided by tribunal, but sure we could negotiate with West Ham directly. In the long term a sell on clause could be worth more than a few hundred grand now. Look at what Bournemouth got for Lallana for example.SuedeAdidas said:

The tribunal will probably think we're more Leyton Orient.
500k for Poyet plus 10% of sell-on fee.
