Ban the big clubs buying English players unless they have it written into their contracts that they have to play, that'll sort out all of England's problems ;)

Another wasted talent to throw on the bench like Micah Richards, Rodwell and Sinclair.

Top clubs buying players before they're fully developed and then not playing them is killing the national team.

With all the foreign managers in the Prem these days you have to wonder if this is their secret attempt to just improve their own National Teams fortunes (Seeing the Premier League is played at such a fast pace)

We all discuss the need for Youth Players to be coached a trained in a certain way but maybe its more a case of having more British Managers in the top Division will see these kids given more of a chance

In paper today that #cpfc hoping to sort Owen Garvan exit. Didn't go on pre-season camp to Austria.

good player once. Not sure if signing ex-spanner and ex-glazier wouldn't cause some addicks to instantly implode

I got stick on here when I suggested him last season. Excellent left footed CM who played a key role in Palace's promotion two years ago.

Always seemed to be carrying a bit of extra timber for us last season.

Not a bad player but he'd be 4th/5th choice at our place now if he were to come in.

To play for one of Millwall or Palace may be regarded as a misfortune, to play for both looks like carelessness.

Now that's a more reliable source, I am more inclined to believe it now :-)

  • Bahebeck starting along side ibrahimovic right now apparently. There's probably a stream somewhere on the internet for those sad people who have are free Friday night......
  • "Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson is a £5m target for West Ham." amazing how a few ok run-outs in the prem inflates player value, hope we get a nice slice of the fee if it happens though...
  • not sure if already featured but...
"Mathieu Baudry was rewarded with a new deal at Orient last summer until 2016, but it is believed the Frenchman has a buy-out clause of £200,000 in his contract. The news has alerted several sides, with the likes of former club Bournemouth, Brentford and CHARLTON all tracking Baudry as they look to bolster their defensive options.

don't we have enough defensive options now?

Well that's at least two goals conceded this season. Fuller and now O'Grady.

With a surname like O'Grady I'm sure he'll feel right at home in Brighton

Henderson won't be signing on loan.

Just agreed mutual termination with West Ham. Free agent now. Clearly going somewhere soon!

“I’m professional, I always have been,” said O’Grady. “Charlton are the only team to have come in with a concrete offer for me, but I weighed up my options, discussed things with my wife and we decided it wasn’t the best move for us. We’re settled here. We moved to Sheffield about seven years ago and like living here.

Fair play to ogrady for being honest. He is settled in Sheffield. That's going to be a long commute every day to Brighton.

    Greedy Fecker.

He had an offer from Sheffield Utd as well. Good luck to him at Brighton, obviously an offer he couldn't refuse.
