But how much have we received in from Poyet and probably Reza? I wonder if shipping out Reza is what is holding up signing Delort. Big Bob aparently said at the open day that the #9 shirt was open in case Reza moved on0

Yep, although you've also got to remember that we outmuscled several clubs for Moussa, Gudmondsson, Henderson and potentially Delort if he comes with regards to wages.. Add to that the pitch cost and hospitality and catering deals.. It's pretty clear RD's not holding back on dosh this season..LargeAddick said:

I don't know anything about Delort so can't say whether it is good or bad for definite, but if he signs i will welcome him. he seems to have potential from what has been said, but time will tell. Just hope he brings with him the goals we desperately need. Same goes for Vetokele and Tucudean.
With Vetokele, Tucudean, Gudmundsen, Moussa, Buyens and our youth coming through and potentially Delort we have a fairly young squad (bar Ben Haim and Bikey). If they can grow together we could have a strong squad going forward. Really looking forward to this season.0 -

French striker Andy Delort has agreed to join Charlton Athletic over a host of other clubs including La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, signing a five-year deal. The 22 year-old was top goalscorer in Ligue 2 last season with 24 goals in 36 games for Tours. After flying over to London and visiting Charlton's training ground, Delort decided to turn down Atletico Madrid, Premier League side Leicester and Leeds United in favour of a move to the Addicks. The fee is in the region of £2.5m and would represent a phenomenal coup for Charlton.4
