119-7. Treders gone for 3. Billings 40*.
60 behind.0 -
Claydon didn't last long, out for 1. 119-8.
Me thinks that Billings might start putting bat to ball before his time at the crease runs out.0 -
As he has - 26 off his last 12 balls takes him to 68* and the score 153-8 and just 26 behind.Addick Addict said:Claydon didn't last long, out for 1. 119-8.

164 all out.
Why doesn't our tail wag like virtually everyone elses does against us!0 -
Not the Kent way Len.
It's just not cricket for bowlers to score runs.0 -
To be fair as Billings got virtually as many as all the team put together not many of our batsmen got any either ;-(MrOneLung said:Not the Kent way Len.

As well as Treders being picked for the England one day squad in Sri Lanka, Sam Billings and Adam Riley have been selected for the England Performance squad there too:

Hope Riley can celebrate his call up by somehow picking up the two wickets he needs for his 50 county championship wickets. There is little other Kentish interest left in this game. It's a stretch for D B-D to get the 50 runs he needs for his county championship 1,000 particularly if his running is as bad as it was in the first innings!0
-
265-4 so we are now 280 behind. Two for Claydon this morning.0
-
Lunch: 313-4 and a lead of 328.

Riley isn't going to do it...0
-
347-5 wicket for Claydon0
-
Stevens - 56 wickets
Claydon - 55 wickets
Riley - 48 wickets
Bollinger - 27 wickets
The rest - 54 wickets
It's finding someone who will step up from the rest that will be the task. None of our other fast bowlers have shown any consistency and the all rounders, Ball and Haggett, have yet to really prove that they can live up to that mantle.0 -
Will edit above to reflect wickets to fall as I have with Claydon taking a 4th in this innings and his 9th in the match.
349-6 and 364 behind.0 -
356-7. A 3rd wicket for Griffiths.0

358-9 and a "five for" for Griffiths. Could he be the one to step up? Much, I suspect, will depend on him staying injury free.
Edit - three wickets in four balls for him.0 -
380-9 the tail wags yet again0

To be fair though Len, they were 346-4.LenGlover said:380-9 the tail wags yet again

Having said that it is now 406-9 so a 50 last wicket partnership so far.
What happened to the old days when 10 & 11 didn't know which end to hold a bat with?0 -
418-9 now.
In theory if their number 11 can still tonk it around then 450 ish is gettable in 4 sessions.
On the other hand it's Kent.....0 -
432 all out.
6 wickets for Griffiths.0 -
Bell- Drummond you have 4 sessions to get 50 plus!1
-
49-3. Nash gone.
Season's gonna end with a whimper.0
