No one can realistically begin to judge Luzon until at least 10 games and it's just really silly to spout all this nonsense.

I have mentioned before, we have now had 4 managers within a twelvemonth. If every manager has 10 games grace, and we keep churning them, then no judgement of this regime's approach can ever be made.
Even if you only focus on Peeters and Luzon in one season that's twenty games grace right there. When Riga was appointed, if you look back, I said he will do very well to keep us up given the circumstances of his arrival. Well he kept us up, and I acknowledged his achievement on more than one occasion.
The reality is that as soon as Riga was appointed the game changed, the regime has made all their decisions, and what I expect from those decisions is success. If Luzon delivers the success promised, or suggested, or at least intimated by the current regime then I will be delighted and be behind it all the way.
I don't want to keep waiting 10 games to judge each manager, indeed after 10 games with Peeters we were unbeaten, what was the general judgement then, and where do we find ourselves now?
Guy Luzon has had two games in my view, and in the view of some others, but not everybody, and from my perspective people are entitled to express their opinions, and not be subject to personal remarks because they do so.2 -
For the statistics, and the win percentage ratio, it would be good to establish when Guy Luzon's first game is.
For me the first official game is today as he can't have officially started as he did not have a work permit.2 -

What ever concerns we had about his appointment and the way it was handled, there just cannot be any doubting his achievements to date. Who knows how long it can continue; he may yet come unstuck, but whilst he's possibly been fortunate with some of the newer players available to him, it would be just plain churlish not to recognise the incredible affect he's had. Virtually every player, including fringe players, have risen to the new levels being asked of them, and today he showed he could turn things around after an apparently disappointing first half. Stil early days in the bigger picture but his approach appears refreshingly simple, and refreshingly positive.5

That looked like a happy and united set of players and coaching staff today, it helps that clearly Tony Watt likes Luzon which must help sell him to British players1

Perhaps the nature of his appointment actually helped in that the air of antipathy and animosity surrounding the club could be used to forge a team spirit, us-vs-the-world siege mentality, the players had no-one to count on but themselves (citing some of the Watford chants as examples.) However he's done it, he's managed to get a team full of players that many on here (I hold my hands up to being amongst them) thought had lost whatever fight and spirit they had in them and got them to function as a proper team again, in every sense.
I also must give credit to his approach to the press, he's made it about the players and the club not about himself and he's never resorted to childish 'told-you-so' or cheap shots at critical fans now he's turned things around. He's not got the same sort of chatty charm as Powell or Peeters but he definitely gives me the impression of speaking as the face of the players not the owner.5 -
I am as concerned as anyone about how our club.
The last few years have been one hell of a roller coaster.
It was simple though for me. New manager gets my support.
The club was on it's knees when he took over.
The performance against Watford was amongst the most abject in our recent history.
He deserves huge credit for turning it around. Of course he is helped by new players coming to the party.
It demonstrates of ever it needed to be that you can't judge a book by its cover.
If the team stays together over the summer, with perhaps another signing or two, next season will be an exciting one.

Even this wonderful form and the undoubtedly positive effect Guy has had on the team, don't detract from the instability and stubborn ineptitude that RD has shown time and time again at this and other teams.
As far as I am concerned the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour and this man still represents a real and present danger to the club until he has demonstrated otherwise with period of sustained stability.
Basically I don't trust RD further than I could spit a rat - So drop " Roland" from the chant and I will bawl it out.

Trust is earned. If the best bits of the squad are kept together with a couple of additions, Charlton will be challenging top 6 next season. That is a big 'if'.

Supporting a manager 100pc isn't necessarily related to how well he is doing. He should be getting 100pc support anyway.
The fact that he is doing such a brilliant job makes the question all the easier.
100pc support without a shadow of a doubt. Every decision Roland has made has worked since he took over:
Sacking Powell for Riga
Sacking Peeters for Luzon
