If it stays 2-0 can we just forget about the league cup game?

81' Ball pings around the box and nearly rolls over the line off the back of Holmes-Dennis, but Dmitrovic saves the day. #cafc #CAFCLive

I left at half time whem i saw the u21's changing into the strip. Wouldn't of botheresd of i knew that was going to happen.

Why don't Charlton fans want to see the Youngsters? No offence, but I find your attitude a bit odd. You would prefer to go home than watch the youngsters.

It aint that, dick plumb i work 13 hour days and have to be up at 4 am tommorrow and drive to leeds. I paid to get in to watch the first team and when the first team went off so did I. There is nothing wrong that.

    83' Dmitrovic makes a good save to palm a Daggers free-kick away. #cafc #CAFCLive

Fair play for going in that case.

I went to Belgium to watch the youths! But at the end of the day the friendlies are not for the fans - they are prep for the season and they are managed in a way that the club thinks optimises that prep. We can only complain if we play weakened teams in games that matter.

Jake Sinclair the only trialist involved then. Didn't expect to see Nego back.

    Did nego ever leave?

I like the sound of Konsa. Is he likely to break into the first team set-up this season?

So we should be playing injured players in pre-season friendlies instead if resting them to make sure they are ready for the QPR game?

2 good saves from marko. Looking solid. Can hear him from the other end of the ground.

Thd better going forward than defending

Nego still built like a refugee but looks tidy on the ball - not unthinkable that he might play for us again

Pigott playing more of a targetman / back to goal role and doing ok but not pacy or strong enough for my liking. Getting bullied still

Milhail Kennedy is a busy little bugger. Like him. Very tidy and comfortable on the ball

don't think we are 2-0 up.

    Sky still says it's 1-0.

In honesty none of the youth players look ready for regular first-team football at this moment in time. My comments about them take into account their age and relative inexperience at this level

    Bang on Muttley.

It amazes me that some people don't understand that.

How did Ahearne Grant and Charles Cook look? Would you rank them the same?

No idea what strength Dagenham were at, but to be honest we seemed to cause them more problems in the second half with the kids out.

Have to agree with Swisdom, don't think any of them who played tonight are ready for the Championship.

Would like to see Consa, Umerah, Holmes-Dennis and perhaps Kennedy loaned out for the season - all of these would hold their own in league two.

Feel a bit sorry for Piggot, its not going to happen for him here. Best for all parties that he moves on. Lennon is another who is wasting his time with us. Nowhere near the first team and simply hasn't progressed. Can't see Sho-Silva being here for much longer either.

Marko looked solid in everything he had to do.

Useful fitness exercise for the seniors and ultimately quite nice to see youngsters who I've heard a lot about but essentially never seen play.

Are the trialists that played at the weekend gone then? Seeing as none of them played today

There were only two at the weekend: Aribo and Sinclair.

Sinclair played tonight. Expect Aribo will play at Maidstone tomorrow.

There's a Charlton XI game at Maidstone tomorrow night (I believe the game is still on). A few of them should be playing in that.

Staunton, Browne, Ferguson and Peta were also trialists.
