So Henry says it isn't Malky so are we back to Fraeye or is someone else in the frame?0
-
But Jimmy the language we use is often determined by who we are with.
As an example I used to work with a Nigerian girl who I got on really well with and we would take the piss out of each other and it would include racial stereotypes and slurs. This was fine cos we knew each other's boundaries and were comfortable with it and knew it was a joke rather than something we truly believed or would act on etc.
If outsiders over-heard is they would have probably reported us.
What I'm saying is that Malkay was talking privately with someone and they obv had their own boundaries of what was acceptable between the two of them.
I know lots of people who have made jokes about the Jews for example when amongst friends. I don't for one second think any of them would treat a Jew in a derogatory way cos I know them well enough.
Malkay was stupid but it doesn't mean he is definitely a racist just as I'm not because of my story above.5 -

Chinky?E=mc2 said:Couple of wins Malky and watch the fickleness fold from some of our supporters!
Btw - how many of you guys/girls had a takeaway chinky last night!
That term is racist even if it is used by a lot of people who say they don't mean any harm by it.
People don't order in a pizza and declare they're having a 'wop', or buying patties and saying they're having a 'coon' or a 'n*gg*r'.3 -
I don't think that was the case with Malky. I've said some ridiculous things ironcially too, it's the kind of humour that mocks those who use the language for real. The Organiser said:But Jimmy the language we use is often determined by who we are with.

I suppose I can't prove it, but I don't think Malky was being ironic. I think we got a glimpse of what he's really like.

Leaving aside his persistent racist texts I don't think Malkey is any good as a manager, he spent shed loads to take Cardiff up didn't he?
If we appoint Malkey or Nigel Pearson or whichever British style manager, either the manager is promising to work under Roland's system or far more unlikely Roland is prepared to change his approach.2 -
Just think... If the Scottish referendum had gone the other way, Mackay would be "another foreign no mark"The Red Robin said:

I'd rather have a manager with proven experience of the division we want promotion from. He did well at Watford and Cardiff, Wigan were doomed regardless.Chizz said:

As a manager I'm not sure about Malky, I think he was a good manager and did a good job at Watford with their limited resource then was the man to finally get Cardiff promoted after so many had failed with their talented squad. Plays a bit direct but seems to be able to organise a team together well. I think though that his incident would have probably lessened his command of a dressing room though which may be part of the reason for his struggle at Wigan and maybe players won't look at him the same or respect him at all.2

I agree with the principle and the example, but the content of his texts was a bit more than playing with stereotypes. I think the comment on Phil Smith could be viewed that way, but 'not many white faces among that lot'?? Hmm...The Organiser said:But Jimmy the language we use is often determined by who we are with.
