Subbed in the 82 min. last night and reports (denied) the Russel Slade was facing the sack after their cup defeat by Shrewsbury.
When we sack our manager, we end up with no options and hire a new one from the Belgian third tier.
When Cardiff sack their manager, they're immediately linked to a manager with Championship experience.18 -
Nope... Riga was before and after Tony Watt @ LiegeShowmetheway2gohome said:Like watt got desire to be a winner and talent but no brain.but saying that our managers haven't been good for him. An older and wiser manager like Riga might have been better for him and get the best out of him Did Tony watt play under Riga at standard does anyone know

I don't think so. He def played under Luzon, and claimed to like doing so.Showmetheway2gohome said:Like watt got desire to be a winner and talent but no brain.but saying that our managers haven't been good for him. Bet half of it goes to SL to stop them making a fuss over his move to us.4

Either way... This has shown Roland the benefit of having Charlton Athletic and not selling us.
- Celtic to Standard Liege: £1.2m
- Standard Liege to Charlton Athletic: £Free
- Charlton Athletic to Cardiff City: £2m
Instant profit within one year for him right there0 -

Watt's loan is to the 16th, and we were told his transfer would happen today, but he could still play for Cardiff on loan Saturday and make the decision after that0

Why are people happy with the amount we have received? Curious? If you are the same people wanting RD out - then him receiving good money for players is success - which means he's going to keep on to this weird vision of his...5

I take your point but better sell Watt for £2m than sell Watt and Lookman for £2m combined.Atletico Addick said:Why are people happy with the amount we have received? Curious? The lesser of two evils
Although the fee has been creeping from 900k to £1m to £1.5m to now £2m0 -
I reckon Riga could get the best out of Watt. With the pace Harriott brings to the forward line and JBG on form, he could be part of a potent strike force. Madness to offload him. Let's get him back and give him another chance, Jose will sort him out.6

The money is completely irrelevant, Duchatelet has money and will spend on shit regardless of how much comes in. Does anyone really think that Duchatelet would pay agents or pay another club in the same division for a player? We could sell him for a pound for all the difference it would make.4
-
So the old 'undisclosed fee' goes out of the window when it looks like we're getting a good deal.
How surprising.3 -

Tbh I heard £2 million soon after the loan deal was announced.1

Make, 800k but lose 7 million when we get relegated because we can't score any goals, brilliant! You should join the board.colin1961 said:

Only problem is that money will be spent on the next Polish Pete1

It will not be spent on anyone, it went towards Johnson, Williams and Poyet, and to reduce debtBigRedEvil said:Only problem is that money will be spent on the next Polish Pete

How much of that £2m is going to the local business card printer - they must be raking it in!1

Watt, Lookman, Vet, JBG, Harriott... Pretty good front 5. Shame they will never play together.2

And what formation would that front 5 fit in anywayAthletico Charlton said:Watt, Lookman, Vet, JBG, Harriott... Pretty good front 5. Shame they will never play together.

Glad he's going. And at £2 million he's now another clubs liability. His true colours will show when Cardiff go on a losing streak, as I've said before the guy is clearly a cock and that seems to be the opinion of many fans two favourite players (hendo and jacko).
Now to find the next Naby Sarr.2
