Fraeye Speaks - Another disgruntled ex-employee

Interim tag didn't help him?
His lack of any managerial ability didn't help him.31 -
Fascinating to learn that you can't make a chocolate cake with salt and pepper37
-
What a strangely deluded person he is. Still, it demonstrates the chaos the club is in under RD and KM.10
-
despite his failings (and I wanted him gone), I read that interview and it makes me think even more what a shower of shit the ownership and senior management are.46
-
Wanted kermorgant and Tomlin.... Just names thrown out to get the fans back on his side or the truth?
The Line that summed up RD and his puppet was "They said that even with Mourinho, it would be hard to keep the team up. We all agreed with the board and myself that the team needed more strengthening."
What happened to wanting to be a competitive championship squad and to be desperate for championship survival!3 -
Pure spin
Karel, you scouted the players and you had no idea how to motivate a team.
You were also never just an interim manager and you even went as far as putting pen to paper on a contract (one of the reasons why it never got published was because of the results)
No one is fooled karel9 -
I think a lot of what he says is very true.
Just shows us even more what a farcical way the appointment of the coaches and recruitment of players is being made by RD and KM.
Still doesn't change my mind that he was way out of his depth though !

Technically he wasn't a club employee, just over on work experience bless him12
-
Great bloke. Always said it.... wanker10

Interesting that the players (Harry Lennon) showed no confidence in the interim tag either.
It seems as though that the players backed Fraeye and they would have played their socks off for him if he'd just been announced as the Manager from the off, instead he was announced as the temporary guy leaving the players thinking: Well it don't matter if I play well because the new man might not like me regardless.
He's also right that had we won the Brighton and Bolton games he would have been in a better position but the buck has to stop with him, fair enough Brighton were still going strong at that stage so were always going to come back (with the Red Card not helping) yet Bolton in the second half we were awful and toothless.
It also explains the Stephen Henderson interview after Huddersfield a bit better when he said he didnt have a clue what was going on... Basically he'd had conversations with the owners and Jackson after Colchester, the players said that Fraeye had their backing so the owners happily accepted Fraeye, 24-hours they've changed their minds and the conversation has been a waste.
Katrien you've still got a lot to explain!!26 -

The best thing about the interview is that it would certainly imply that he's no longer part of the network at all (for now).
Also its another previously internal/loyal voice criticising the regime which is welcome.
However it does all read a little too obviously just saying the things he thinks will get people back on his side and give him sympathy. I trust most of what he's said as much as I trust anything from Pinocchio's mouth.
The bloke is even more deluded than I thought if he thinks he has any chance of another job in England too...
No questions on laundrybasketgate either, opportunity missed!
Still. It must be annoying for poor Katrien, all these ex-employees making horrible things up about their time at the club after they leave.10 -
Well, Bromley have a vacancy...8

Why would you do that to Louis and Olly?InspectorSands said:Well, Bromley have a vacancy...

“They said that even with Mourinho, it would be hard to keep the team up. We all agreed with the board and myself that the team needed more strengthening.
“That’s what I told them before. These are things that should be discussed internally. In the press and media I always defended the team, but we knew very well that strengthening essential.
“Good players aren't necessarily good Championship players. Some players adapt very quickly, some need time and others will never adapt to the physical demands of the league.
“But, you have to know this league to understand.
“So the board backed me and I was told new players would come through the door.
“A day later, they rang me and told me the backing was not there from the owner and a Huddersfield loss would see me gone. That happened on the Sunday evening.”1 -
Anyone who is starting to think a few wins and no need to pretest need to have a read of this.
Roland needs to go, it is him that makes all the decisions and him who needs to take the blame with KM and Murray.23 -
Most of that interview reflects terribly on the board, and just shows him to be a stooge. The Colchester meeting with the players! Hahaha3
-
The poor bastard really doesn't get it does he? Roland never supported you at all you clown. You were just there so he didn't have to spend money. That is literally the only reason. He didn't see some (non existent) talent no-one else could see. He just didn't want to spend money on an actual experienced coach.20

So Katrien & Richard Murray apparently said;
"even with Mourinho, it would be hard to keep the team up"
Very interesting.12 -
So they really are now relying on our Jose to be the special one...se9addick said:So Katrien & Richard Murray apparently said;

Katrien Meire November 2015: Every managerial decision has been the correct decision
Every manager since SCP when they have got the chop has now come out and crisitisized the board.
Learn the lesson, sell up and get out of our club.31 -

So as we knew but this has reconfirmed Roland makes arbitrary decisions from Belgium and disregards what Miere and Murray say37 -
Ha, maybe that's what they meant.Weegie Addick said:

I just think it's funny that this is all happening at the same time that KM is bleating on about spending £9m on players. If we believe her then she's spent that £9m pretty bloody badly is the squad is so poor that one of the worlds best managers couldn't save us.9 -
And when I say "funny" I mean utterly, utterly devastating.7

Yet Fraeye said when he came that you can only play 11 players and he didn't need more playersse9addick said:So Katrien & Richard Murray apparently said;

Too late now Fraeye to disown the network and the role you played in it from before Powell was sacked and even before Roland bought the club.
Spin as much as you like but you were the scout and you had a contract too.12 -
Saw that and instantly thought... Great, nice to see confidence from our owners thinking that we'd survive.se9addick said:So Katrien & Richard Murray apparently said;

Its on par with going into the Office during the recession and my Manager saying: Don't think the Company will survive this, we're all doomed2 -
That explains the shambles after the Huddersfield game, if Fraeye had been told he would be sacked if we lost, then I guess he felt no obligation to speak to the media!9
-
Hence why Henderson would need to get on the Coach to find out what was happening.killerandflash said:That explains the shambles after the Huddersfield game, if Fraeye had been told he would be sacked if we lost, then I guess he felt no obligation to speak to the media!
I guess the players didn't know that defeat against Huddersfield would result in his sacking (especially after a seemingly positive interview with Katrien and her pet Dick) so would have been confused as to why Karel just got straight on the coach0 -
