Mel Baroni and Chris Parkes at Bromley Addicks - Post Match Views and Ratings

They did both agree that Ufton was on Ward 6, bed 13 on 21 Dec so they shook and made up.
After that lots of boring stuff like Sonogo wages going down the more games he plays.
She said she comes from Wallington but added quickly she isn't a Palace fan so she clearly gets some of it.
covered end, inspector sands and soapbox sam will write it up in the morning.
I'm off to bed.

Sanogo's wages going down the more games he plays... when he's arrived unfit. Oh dear! I bet Arsenal are enjoying that one, even if it does make some sense to encourage us to play their loanee players - hopefully there's some sort of clause about injuries though.
We have an expert lawyer negotiating contracts of course..6 -
Hopefully there will be a review of Blood Brothers too.7

I look forward to the proper reports in the morning.Henry Irving said:Huge row. Mel insisted Millers was known as the Royal Infirmary but Chris said it was Millers Dispensery.

can't believe they opened up with karaoke about the general state of the club
"Tay, tay, tay, tay, t-t-t-tay-tay, tay, tay
Take or leave us only please believe us
We are never gonna be respectable (respectable)
Like us, hate us, but you'll never change us
We are never gonna be respectable (respectable, respectable, respectable, respectable)"

I know it's still early for some ;-) but oh, the irony of the lack of a report from a meeting with the new head of comms....10

Perhaps that is it though - there is nothing to say !!!!CatAddick said:I know it's still early for some ;-) but oh, the irony of the lack of a report from a meeting with the new head of comms....

Perhaps the Head of Comms has put a moratorium on those assembled!!! Km has decreed that "Thou shall stay silent" under pain of being dragged kicking an screaming to watch the team play!!0
-
Perhaps everybody boycotted it?1

Try calling the police, the fire brigade or the ambulance service in Bromley and see who turns up.valleyrobin said:

Im off to see the Delacroix at the National before a work meeting so this will be brief.
Could have been a very good evening but current situation made it guarded and lots of statements about the current situation that neither, as employees could fairly be expected to respond to.
Which was a shame as Chris has a lot of good stories and insight into how things work such as variable loan deals of which Sonogo was just an example. Also we have a new doctor Ian Beasley (sp?) who works for the FA also but a different Doc on matchdays. Lookman and Diksteele had got a place together, Tracey Leaburn does a lot to sort out players domestic issues such as flats, Dartford Tunnel charges etc etc. New building at Sparrows Lane not started but is modular so will slot in quicly when foundations done.
CP gives a list of players to Riga showing who are loans and who are home grown so we don't break the rules (no more than 5 of 1st, at least 6 of 2nd.
Mel explained her background in sports marketing which included the rugger "world" cup and work with the FA. She also played XI side football with Wimbledon (didn't say to what level) and understood the fan issues there with MK Dons.
She also said that she couldn't do anything about what happened before but saw her role to advise on and improve comms to fans, to build better relationship with the media. She said she was here to listen and find out what fans thought and I think she did listen, she did speak to fans individually but understandably she could say too much.
That won't satisfy those of you who will only be happy if she slags off her boss in public or makes promises in public she can't keep. My personal view is that she is aware of just how much work needs to be done and how hard that will be but she didn't say that directly.
Right off to get some culture
@IT_Andy @Covered End @soapboxsam @Addickted2TheReds @Viktor_Reznov @killerjerrylee @wwtone and others were there so they can give their impressions and views.17 -
Thanks, H. Would be interested in overall impression of Mel - does she have the gravitas, experience and presence we urgently need in such a role?1

Cheers @Henry Irving - it sounds like a really good meeting.
Not digging out Mel whatsoever - on the contrary actually - but I think it's worth pointing out what a big gesture it was for her to attend. I think that must've taken the woman a lot of guts, and fair play to her. Considering her job has a large component that is directly involved with combating CARD press attention, it makes it all the more admirable. Disappointing that her attitude doesn't permeate throughout the club as a whole, I hope she keeps it up though.
P.S - Sorry to break it to you mate, but that Delacroix fella has been dead for a quite a while..3
