I wouldn't be part of the T20 group as being so in current times opens me up to ridicule!

Roland's statement has made the utterances of Colin seem quite reasonable. Speaking of which, Col's take on the latest developments would really brighten my day.

How utterly bizarre but totally expected, the T20k group are being championed as a fans representative group. Who put them there? Whose views do they represent the 2%?

They are being used as pawns in a game of chess by the dark side who are losing and have few allies. For goodness sake T20k group disassociate yourselves from this charade .

Indeed, they should resign and get T20 stopped until the poison leaves the club.

I think this statement is 100% Duchatelet himself. The smug patronising superiority is identical to the Alan Turing interview from last year. Why won't you stupid customers just give me money and shut up? You'll see, I'm an unappreciated genius, you lot just lack the mental capabilities to understand!

If it is Duchatalet he's done damned well to cover up the "huh's" so we dont instantly twig its him

As I mentioned in another post, if Mel Baroni has any sense she will quit. How can anyone work as head of Communication and be undermined by this rubbish from RD.
She's got no chance and this has only made her job much harder. This truly highlights who makes ALL the decisions at the club!

In her defence, the original meaning of weird (spelt wyrd) meant something that was so spiritual that it couldn't be described. Maybe that's what she meant by unique?

I didn't see the statement until this morning. Like most others I assumed it was a hack and laughed. To fin d out it is genuine is unbelievable. RD has lost it and played right into our hands publicly. The reference to the KM comments have back fired big style as the news agencies have picked up on it and taken it out of context making them look and sound even worse.
Thing's just got even more interesting, they're rattled. Keep it up guys n gals, well done.

Irony has now suffered a fate worse than a 'fate worse than death'.
The bottom of the barrel had already been scraped through to reveal bottomless barrels stacked one atop another.
We're way beyond being through the looking glass.
If there is someone, employed in any capacity at Charlton Athletic and associated entities, who thinks there are any aspects to this statement that are not wholly ridiculous, inaccurate or degrading then I'd like to know when the sky on their planet is due for a repainting.
    Wibble.

Should make convincing UoG, Delaware North, Andrews, et al to disassociate themselves and cancel all contractual relationships as soon as practicable. Having one's business brand allied to this excrescent farce must be ruinous and certainly humiliating.

The only half sensible explanation is that it's a hack - if so wtf is it still there 18 and a half hours later?

While I'm at it: "Whom would they expect the club to be sold to?" That's not effing English!

rather: To whom would they expect it to be sold?
If you're crowing from your ivory tower, even if that crowing is demeaning drivel, do please endeavour to crow with correct sentence structure.

At least the club knows how to make allegiances between it's 'enemies'

I see all of the 'Walk out on 74', 'Never left early won't start now' and even the 'No ifs no buts' crowds have allied against this horrendous shower of shite 'statement'.

Piece on the 'news shopper' website (open for comments) seems to have been a bit selective which bits to quote-

Terry Pratchett had an excellent book out years back, Wyrd Sisters, about three witches.

Well, we've got Night Meire and Sycophant Mandy - unfair to drag Mel into it just yet, so Roland will just have to suffice for the third.

So was why has this not been pulled from the site?
The reason being clearly, as Louis told us, it is from Roland Blofeld himself. It sounds like the response of someone who has no proper knowledge of the history of the recent unrest at the club, and wants to tell these upstarts who have appeared from nowhere to stand down. Maybe the main man been kept in the dark about the amount of unrest.
Anyway, he has made himself look a fool, he has made his staff look like fools, the poor sods, and he has made Charlton Athletic look bonkers.
And he has the cheek to suggest some customers want the club to fail, we don't need to, he's doing that brilliantly all on his own!

Surely the only thing T20 are in place for is so that they can take a bit of the flak away from KM ?

That mentions a comment from Jacko on Twitter. "Johnnie Jackson the captain has reacted on Twitter with a somewhat backhanded criticism. The players must all want out." Anyone know what he said?

Might be in place to give Roland a bit of a nosh when he has his midweek visits. Still counts as meeting fans.

"The way of wyrd" by Brian Bates is also a good read if you're into that kind of thing.

He posted two emotes. I'm over the age of 30 so my decyphering or emoticons isn't great... But it doesn't look a ringing endorsement of the statement

I think someone sent him a link to the statement and he responded with two emojis: one was shocked and one was the see-no-evil monkey.

I don't social media so well so I could be wrong.
