I still don't get why Dmitrovic was loaned to one of Roland's other clubs.

He's been "sold" now, we extended his contract by a year when he came break from alcorcon, and then joined them a month or so later
Dodgy way of moving money around within his empire to offset profits I would guess
Ah, that's it. Amazed how the Football League haven't looked into this.

a bad start and Slade will be sacked with a told you so to us for wanting a British manager

One British manager 'fails'and they'll never hire one again. Several foreign, inexperienced managers fail but they keep appointing them. Katrien Meire logic.

Permanent, long-term signing is it? No?

As if Rudd would join us on a long term permanent deal!

It's a decent signing, Rudd gets a season to show everyone how good a keeper he can be and we get a good keeper who really shouldn't be in the third tier of football, but he is, and he's our player for the year, and should be more than capable of being our number 1

Said it before, will say again. Incomings have been very, very good

The strategy is what is humiliating to the honour of this club. There will not be another keeper bought in now after this transfer, of that you can be sure. Look what's left if/when Rudd gets injured. Complete pisstake, way beyond a joke now what has been done to this squad. The fact they think the playing staff will be sufficient is insulting to the fan (customer).

So if as expected it is Pearce in, Tex out.........

    Back 5 of

    Rudd
    Solly
    Fox
    Pearce
    Bauer

Would there be a better back 5 in league 1 football?

Last year of his contract. Make him feel welcome, have a great season and he'll be ours

Only takes an injury at Norwich (or Rudd himself) to put us back into the brown stuff!

When you have no fit centre midfielders it puts pay to having a good back four. As we have seen last season, a couple of injuries and the leaks start to pour.

I agree, but how long before Bauer is fit? Meanwhile, it will be the ever dependable RoJo. And we haven't got Pearce yet (fingers crossed we do).

Agree, Solly is probably the most injury prone player in the defence and Bauer hasn't had much luck either! fox could leave before then too!

Or, more likely, sign for a club higher up the food chain.

You don't normally have recall options on longer term loans unless they say the recall comes in the January window. You'd have to be pretty stupid at negotiating to have a recall clause inserted that could take place at any time within the season... so yeh actually I suppose there is one.

Get a grip man!! Didn't we have Scot Carson when we got relegated. A good keeper doesn't get promotion alone, it helps if the 10 in front do their job as well......

It's a season loan & Norwich can only recall him in the transfer window ie January.

Recall clauses on season long loan deals can't be before the start of the next transfer window, unless long term injured, whereby the parent club want the player to go through the rehab etc and any surgery under their supervision

Don't like loans, but this would be a good signing even in the Championship.
Can't be denied that it is a positive during these dreadful dark times.
