I don't think anyone finds the situation in north Korea even slightly funny. People dying from starvation, misery at the hands of cruel dictators... Obviously that doesn't compare with the charlton regime. But in both cases the one thing that really pricks the bubble of pomposity and self importance between both regimes is humour and lampooning them both hits home more than anything. That's the point.27
