Perfect, why sign him and wait for him to get injured.JohnfromNorfolk said:
Fairly sure he's still injured.Sage said:
Good thinking, and would probably have had offers from other clubs in League One such as going back to Swindon?Chris_from_Sidcup said:Maybe it's Thompson from Norwich?
Who knows, maybe?12 -
Stephens will be going to a Championship club or a lower Prem team, not back to us.Swisdom said:Dale Stephens perhaps
Northern life doesn't suit him apparently2 -
Not a Charlton Rumour as such yet shame Jason Euell can't persuade Shaun to let us have his son if he's any good...
BARTLETT JUNIOR ON TOON RADAR
Newcastle United have reportedly offered a contract to Tyrique Bartlett, the son of former Premier League striker Shaun, after the teenager impressed during a trial spell on Tyneside.
The 17-year-old is said to have signed a three-year-deal and is to join the under-18’s set-up at United with the club now awaiting on international clearance.
The striker came on as a substitute in an Under-23’s game on December 29, as Burnley were thumped 7-0. He replaced Tom Heardman who had netted a hat-trick in the game.
Bartlett had been playing for University of Pretoria’s youth team where his dad Shaun, who played for Charlton Athletic, is the manager for the senior side.0 -
Maybe Shaun has heard what a shambles the club is now and steered his son clear?3

Forster-Caskey's contract ends at the end of the season, though as he's less than 24, Brighton would be owed a development fee1

They probably won't sack their manager in a couple of weeks.

Sounds like Forster-Caskey is on course to be announced within the next few days #cafc1 -
“I think I have to prove to the owner that the players are going to drive us forward. I wanted two midfield players and I know I’m going to now get a phone call – where are them two going to play? "ForeverAddickted said:
Just fuck off RD, one win does not mean everything is rosey, let the manager manage. You have just got your tidy 10 million from Lookman.12 -

2 things. KR has stopped calling Roly "The Owner". What happened to "The President"? He's treading on thin ice.ForeverAddickted said:
Secondly Karl, you don't need to prove anything to Douchebag - he watches all the games so will know we're light in midfield.4 -
"Maybe I’ll have to get some more players out as well to bring in the right type of players to drive us forward"
Do we have that many players to actually get rid of?1 -

I've rated Foster-Caskey since he was a part of that England U-17 team with Jordan Cousins, Nat Chalobah, Brad Smith, Raheem Sterling, Nathan Redmond, etc. He's someone I said would be good for us to look at last year. Good range of passing, great left foot, decent work rate. That said, it sounds like he's really struggled to break into the Brighton team on any sort of regular basis. Think he'd be a great addition at this level. Could play in the "double 6" role, the 2 in front of the defense in a 4-2-3-1, or in the 10 role.
Good start to the window for me. Hope the move is permanent.2 -
I can think of a certain Centre-Back, whose services aren't wanted....Chris_from_Sidcup said:"Maybe I’ll have to get some more players out as well to bring in the right type of players to drive us forward"

If we play 4-2-3-1, does Ajose fit in? The last 2 matches he's been forced to play wide midfield, and been pretty hopeless therePelling1993 said:

Or the likes of Ba if (as it looks) he's never gonna get back in the team.0

Wouldn't be too encouraging to see Carruthers and Reeves go to Sheff U. If we get Reeves and F-C I'll be happy but they're clearly players Karl has Earmarked and if we're not getting any of them somethings wrong.3

Off course something is wrong, we are owned by Roly.cafc_harry said:Wouldn't be too encouraging to see Carruthers and Reeves go to Sheff U. If we get Reeves and F-C I'll be happy but they're clearly players Karl has Earmarked and if we're not getting any of them somethings wrong.

Get in Carruthers, Reeves, Forster Caskey and a new striker and LB
Release Johnson, get rid of Ba, Lookman already gone, Fox heading off, pay off Cellabos, Vet and Sarr. Loan out Lapslie, Edwards and one or two of Hanlon, Ahearne Grant and Umerah. Promote Jackson to coach.
Job done.
10 / 11 out, 5 in.

I like your thinking AC but Latrine will never get through that level of transfer activity in her 10 until 4, with 2 hours for lunch, job . 1
