!*****! On the way to Eltham from Prague. Currently on a Blackheath- Woolwich train. On the basis that it gets me somehow nearer.

This is part of your daily lives. I commiserate with you
  • I can't understand how these signals break down every five minutes.
And they haven't managed to fix it all day.
    Utterly useless.

FFS. On my way to Lewisham now. AFKA, fancy a beer?

Sorry mate, still off work but by coincidence was at a Lewisham when you posted this!

I've had to get 4 trains in the last 3 weeks:
    1. Run half hour late, taken out of service on route, one after cancelled, had to complete journey by bus
    2. Running late, 15 min journey completed 50 mins late
    3. 22 min journey took 62 mins
    4. Train delayed, one half hour later delayed, managed to fluke a bit getting another to Lewisham and just picking up a connection

    It's simply not fit for,service

Weird ain't it? Happens on tube you can expect disruption for like an hour. On national railways it's a day.

Third night in a row I've had to get the DLR not to mention Wednesday morning when I had a train cancelled for no reason. At least I'm racking up the 90p's in refunds.

London bridge and station evacuated due to a suspicious vehicle. All those rushing down the Valley tonight - hope it clears up.
I am looking at the bridge from my office, totally deserted.

The Police have requested an exclusion zone through the area, so no trains will run towards London Cannon Street or London Charing Cross until such a time we are told it is safe to do so.

Southeastern will be diverting trains to London Blackfriars and London Victoria where they can, but some trains will need to be terminated before reaching London.

Some Southern services will start and terminate at New Cross Gate while others services will be revised or diverted on route.

Just left Victoria on a packed train.

If the police don't get the area cleared within the next hour I feel sorry for anyone trying to get home tonight.

must be serious though to ask for an exclusion zone and no trains to even run through the station

Sorry mate, just got to Lewisham, nothing advertised but a minute later an empty Sidcup line train turns up out of the blue. Maybe try and convince the wives it's still fucked and go to the Alma?

Usually find myself looking longingly at bridges after I've watched us play.
  • Another hour+ delay. Plenty of trains up and running once London Bridge re-opened. Most of my delay was caused by Southeastern not able to communicate where their rescheduled trains would be running from and to.

Mayhem at Charing Cross. Got a train to dartford and stood to bexleyheath. Now been stuck between Barnhurst and dartford for about half an hour. Could be worse I suppose. Could be going to the Valley.

    Kick off delayed to 8pm

What are the odds that it was Tony Watt's car that caused the original delay?
