What was the last "big game" we won? I feel like it could be Huddersfield at home in 2011?

Watford at home at the end of the 2013/4 season

First leg play-offs at Ipswich - especially when we were down to 10 men. Atmosphere was amazing.

A loss would make it much harder, but we would still have a chance if we win our last two.

I think the key elements we need are Fosu and Mav fit for all three games!

No way is 71 points going to be enough. 72 very minimum and seeing as we can't get 73 then 74 it will have to be.

71 gives us a decent chance. It means Scunthorpe need seven from four games and Plymouth need eight from five. Plus they have to play each other.

That's why I want Plymouth to win that game. Seven from three would be much tougher for Scunny than eight from four for Plymouth.

That is the way I look at it. Of course no guarantees but if gives us a slightly better than evens chance I think. Would rather not test that though!

Scunthorpe are pretty crap at the moment - should have been up with rotherham/shrews but they've fallen apart - they beat us, ok.. but other than that they can't hit a barn door lately.. they are not world beaters all of a sudden. I 100% think they will slip up

I think 72 would be enough, 71 would see us miss out on goal difference to Scunny. Don't think Portsmouth will quite get there.

One thing is for sure, lose tomorrow and it's all over.

easiest run-in so feel they will do enough, us/plymouth/portsmouth for final place, win this weekend and we should give us the advantage.

If results went our way (they won't) we could lose all 3 and still make play offs.

Realistically we need to break the 70 barrier.

There's no better way to prepare for the playoffs than winning one out of seven.

Had a look at the Plymouth forum earlier. They are very very unconfident. A couple of significant injuries apparently.
  • Here's hoping Plymouth play as poorly as they did today at Northampton. The fans on their message board don't seem particularly confident.

    We've all been there.
  • Think Scunthorpe will finish fifth with us sixth on goal difference from Plymouth but we will need that win at Rochdale. Can’t see any points against Blackburn. Think Argyle will get two wins and a draw.

    And their fourth game?

    A loss obviously

Dunno... I think we'll get something from Blackburn whilst I see Scunthorpe potentially slipping up (yet not enough to drop out of the Play-Offs)

I wonder if any Plymouth fans looked on here after the Scunthorpe game. If they win at Rochdale they're well in it.

I think we need Scunthorpe to beat Plymouth for us to make the play offs.

    Pompey and Peterborough are gone.

I think we want Scunthorpe to beat Plymouth and for Rotherham to do the same. That would mean Plymouth finishing on a max of 70. We would only need one win to surpass that. If we can beat both Blackburn and Rochdale then I think we've made the playoffs with 74 as depending on the Plymouth/Scunthorpe result the max those two can finish on would be
Scunthorpe 76 Plymouth 73 or Plymouth 76 Scunthorpe 73. If they draw then the max they can finish on is 74 each and we'd most likely beat Plymouth on GD, and could potentially catch Scunthorpe. I think best case scenario we're playing Shrewsbury. I can't see us finishing 5th.
It looks like the Rochdale game is meaningful at least. I was worried I was going to a nothing game!
