When you told your wife you were going to take her to Brighton for your 20th anniversary, I imagine she was expecting to be walking along the pier and visiting the shops and Royal Pavilion!chilham said:Will be attending this- and taking my wife as a 20th wedding anniversary 'outing'!!

I'll ask again, for a 3rd time....
does anyone know if the £2 "buying 2 hrs before start of game" levy apply ??
I see that the £1.50 online fee applies but rather than printing from home would it be cheaper just to buy on the night ?
if so, then it seems home tickets have a mark up unless you buy in person days before a match.0 -

BOWYER .. Rohan Ince is training with his squad and says that the midfielder is set to feature against the Seagulls at The Valley on Tuesday night.
Charlton recorded a 2-0 friendly victory over Crawley Town on Saturday – with Joe Aribo and Karlan Grant notching the goals – and Tuesday’s game will be the Addicks’ penultimate pre-season test.
Speaking following the win against the Reds, Bowyer revealed that Ince and new signing Darren Pratley will be involved against the Premier League club.
“Ince has looked good in training,” Bowyer said. “I trained six of the lads before coming to the game [against Crawley] today and he was one of those. I like what I’m seeing at the moment from him.
“He was very highly rated when he was at Brighton and he has maybe lost his way a bit. I’m confident that me and Jacko can help him to get back to where he was and hopefully make him even better.”

In al, honestly, the club have probably not even thought about it until this thread. And now think “that’s a good idea!”Southendaddick said:No one knows and no one cares
So thanks for that Golfie. You’ve probably just cost everyone (well, about 200 people) a couple of quid :-)6 -
How did it end? Nothing on official site and very quiet on here. Valley Pass did not work for me.4

Ha, thanks chaps!
May send them an email, third time lucky perhaps? Never even acknowledged before so won’t hold my breath.
May just have another G&T. Happy days!0 -

" yet you can read and write and visit this site?
I was in Spain and I knew we were playing. You really need to keep up or folks will think you are one of those chaps that are just trawling for likes by saying “I don’t care any more”, whilst on page 6 of a match report of a kick about! "0 -
what was the result ? .. there is a total media blackout of any kind of news .. we need to know0

There won't be a charge for buying on the night - never has been for friendlies or cup matches. But it was £3 not £2 for league games.0

thank you. I knew I could rely on someone ITK to come back with some info.Airman Brown said:There won't be a charge for buying on the night - never has been for friendlies or cup matches. But it was £3 not £2 for league games.
So, those who have bought online have had to pay more. Interesting.0 -
Ha, what a wally I am. Came home and went onto official site and immediately logged onto the free link thinking this is great. Even told my son to try and sort out the link as it wasn’t working! He is taking the piss big time now.Covered End said:

The above link provides no ticket price information only a link to the ticketing website, obviously they do not want people to pay on the night & avoid the £1.50 transaction fee.

another thing to get depressed about when it comes to Charlton. just seen that Brighton played against Portsmouth this morning. ended 1 all. the bit that's depressing is that Brighton are playing two games on the same day with the second string playing us. bit like what we do with non league sides in pre season. I guess you could see it as how far Brighton have come but for me its just another reminder of how far we've fallen.7
