His first few touches of the ball impressed me against Blackpool last season yet then nerves seemed to get to himpaulie8290 said:Lapslie has impressed in the opening 15 minutes
Definitely a kid who can play if utilised properly1 -
You would have thought so their last game before season startsJaShea99 said:Is this a full strength Norwich team?

Looking at their team id say no as Jordan Rhodes is one not involved.. Whilst Ben Marshall is only on the bench (from their new signings)JaShea99 said:Is this a full strength Norwich team?

He was lying to you Bowyer!Nicholas said:
Apart from telling us all how his met with Roland and gets on well with him and that he is gonna get in 4 players and is not fussed if 5 are sold etc. Same old shit Bowyer is spouting is the same as they all have.Oggy Red said:
Although to be fair, when Bowyer said that, he probably thought he'd be able to play Magennis and Taylor.Nicholas said:That's the strong team Bowyer said he was going to play against Norwich. He is vastly becoming as deluded as all the previous Roland arse licker managers.
That doesn't make Bowyer an "arse licker".
Apart from upfront, the starting line up is decent, plus the experienced Pratley on the bench.1 -
You should ask him to explain what the 4th officials responsibilities are.paulie8290 said:F**k me the old guy sat next to me is soo sexist.
Made at least 5/6 comments about the 4th official being a women and not knowing what she is doing4 -
28' More fantastic passing football on show before Forster-Caskey fires wide from 25 yards. #cafc0

City have received welcome news following the results of striker Jordan Rhodes’ scan on his ankle.
Rhodes had to be substituted after picking up an ankle injury during Wednesday night’s 3-1 win at Luton, but now looks set to remain in contention for the start of the Canaries’ Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Head Coach Daniel Farke commented: “It’s some good news with Jordan as the scan has confirmed only a minor ligament injury in his ankle.
“He will miss the game against Charlton on Saturday but should be ok to join training next week and hopefully be available for the Birmingham game.”2 -
That line up is a protest !!!JamesSeed said:

Charlton have provided a good test for City so far and have had the better of the last ten minutes. #ncfc
CAFC 0-0 NCFC (31)0 -
32' Chance! Great play (again!) as Hackett-Fairchild plays a nice ball out wide to Marshall, who sends in a cross. Lapslie is second favourite but wins his header which is just over thebar. #cafc0

A sweeping City move is finished brilliantly by Hernandez but the linesman's flag is up for offside! #ncfc
CAFC 0-0 NCFC (33)0 -
As teams found out in the World Cup, if you do not score when you are on top, you can easily lose the game0
-
We have definetly been on top this 1st half0
-
Still 0-0 at The Valley as we approach half-time, but it's been a very impressive first half so far for the Addicks... #cafc0
-
40' Chance! Grant flicks on Page's left-wing cross and JFC meets it with a volley, but Krul gets right behind it. #cafc0
-
The ball is sprayed wide to McLean who nods to Pukki. He runs into the box but shoots over from a good position. #ncfc
CAFC 0-0 NCFC (42)0 -
Only down side has been Dillon’s kicking. That’s been pretty shite1

45+1 One minute added... #cafc0

HALF-TIME | Charlton 0-0 City
Charlton have arguably had the better of the first-half but we're goalless at the break. #ncfc0 - Sponsored links:

Phillips not good enough to be number one .3
-
Encouraging first half performance i thought. Put taylor and fosu in the mix and they would have torn Norwich a new one1
-
Sounded like we played well despite the disgraceful line up ;-)0
-
All the goals he let in5
-
Local radio here in Norfolk reporting Charlton the better side in the first half.3
-
A few snaps of the new home kit in action as the Addicks put in an impressive shift during the first-half in SE7... #cafc4

Pretty even. I looked up the Norwich team in Transfernarkt and most of their players are valued over £1m and some at £4m so no mugs. We are playing well, some nice passing but still missing that player that can unlock a defence.
Best players for me
Aribo
JFC
Marshall
Karlan and Lapslie looking dangerous too
Nobody looks poor though - which is nice7 -
