    Of course WE all knew that & I'd have thought LB would have also known this, having been here for the past couple of transfer windows. If not, then he is a bigger fool than even I have given him credit for.

    As they say.........talk is cheap. In future Lee (if you are reading this) keep your mouth shut. Don't go trapping off that we are "100%" signing players before the weekend, or we are "going for promotion". Better to remain silent & be thought a fool than to speak & remove all doubt.

    Not sure if I am disappointed that no one has signed or relieved that no one has gone. I suppose on balance it's better than I thought.

    We probably have sold half the remaining players but it is being kept quiet until Monday to avoid even angrier protests Saturday.

    I am actually a little surprised at no signings at all, although I guess we can still get freebies, and loans as mentioned above

    At least we still have Bauer and Aribo, but still so disappointed, especially as LB had practically promised some new signings.

    still nothing on the OS about Pearce. I thought the press conference was today, but someone earlier said it is tomorrow. anyone confirm ??

    For those saying Bauer and Aribo not gone, I believe they can still be loaned to another EFL club until the 31st (I think). So basically we could loan them (probably with us getting money for that loan) to a club with a fee agreed for them to be signed permanently in January.

    Ajose could also potentially move abroad until the 31st as there was reported interest.

    Personally, I don't believe we will sign anyone in the next three weeks.

    Bowyer will leave it until just before he names the matchday squad at 2pm Saturday.

    He likes to keep the oppo guessing, donchya know? :smile:
