I am not blaming LB, but assuming the mantra tomorrow is "It is what it is and we just have to get on with it", then he will see the response on Saturday. A three-quarters empty stadium with a lot of supporters indeed getting on with other things in their lives.
I truly hopes he sticks with it but if RD continues as owner, I will be amazed if he can maintain his motivation.
I'd rather he said that than lie to us. If that's the scenario then he has to get on with it. As do we.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with him telling it how it is. But as you say, we all have to get on with it. That will mean different things to different people depending on what the club is offering up. The impact is there for all to see in terms of season ticket sales.
Only just realised the deadline is 5pm. Premier league clearly didn't fancy a late night sorting out paperwork then.
Although I realise 11pm is a bit late, esp when clubs are waiting for faxes etc, but 5pm is ridiculously early......especially when players have to travel to new clubs for medicals & sign. Surely 8 or 9pm would have been better.

They do have a couple of hours after the window closes to do the paper work as long as the transfer is registered.
I think we are going to sign 45 new players. Roger Johnson, Anil Koc, Thuram, and the list goes on. Christ on a bike, just remembering some of the dross we have had to witness over the past few years makes me want to throw up.
Even if we don't sign any permanent players, surely we need at least one loan signing in before Saturday anyway, if not two, as we need them in the squad now, not on the 1st September
Bristol Rovers got Stefan Payne from the Shrews. Thought Bow fancied him. Bristol Rovers and Oxford doing far better business than us - but then I guess we're a League Two club in waiting unless the vermin leave.
Whatever way you cut it, that’s a top signing. Holmes is class in League 1. Scores, creates and works his socks off. I wouldn’t sign him for us again as I wouldn’t want to bring in an ex player. But for a club the size of Oxford... Another reminder of what a joke we’ve become that small teams are pulling out the stops while we can’t even confirm journeymen trialists.

Means nothing for today as he could be signed tomorrow under the Transfer Window Rules
Late CAFC interest? Purely speculating of course.
51 minutes left.....
Depressing

Forgot about that corner haha
He's evidently matured into a solid and dependable CB these days.
From Sky sports.
Can’t see us making any bids though, loans and frees if that.
