Some little knob has thrown a tyre under a moving train at Bexleyheath. So expect 3 weeks of delays.

Emergency services are dealing with an incident between Kidbrooke and Barnehurst, causing disruption to trains between Lewisham and Barnehurst. Trains may be delayed or cancelled. Disruption is expected until 19:00.

    What's happened?
    --------------------
Emergency services have been called to attend an incident, and as a result the electricity to the rail which powers trains has been switched off on the Bexleyheath Line.

How does this affect my journey?
    ------------------------------------
Trains can't currently run on the Bexleyheath Line while emergency services attend to the incident. Trains will be delayed and may be cancelled or diverted via alternative routes at short notice.

power off the line currently - even if it is off for 20 mins that translates until delays expected till the day i retyre, you can use buses between lewisham and dartford at no extra cost, thats handy when my car is parked at barnehurst you fucking cretins,

The line is closed due to a person being hit by a train not a tyre

Standard. Passengers on the Hayes, Ore and Grove Park to Bromley North lines no doubt fearing the worst.

Diverted Bexleyheath train to Bexley, get to Lewisham and told Bexleyheath line is now open, get to Blackheath and told no it ain’t, we are all going Abbeywood Line. Such pricks.

Some poor woman gave birth on a Southeastern train last night. What a way to come in to the world. What a scene for all those involved in the birth. Someone has posted on twitter that she felt slightly odd getting on the tube after covered in blood! blimey.

A joker on Twitter asked if she was pregnant before she got on the delayed train!

Usually if a baby is born on a plane during a flight, they get a million air miles. Pity this little one.
    It'll get a 1-6 travelcard for life.
  • Sounds like a fatality at Welling station (jumper?).

Wrong kind of arseholes running this farce, as per usual. Next "Meet the Managers" session at Cannon Street should just be a public flogging followed by a live demonstration of how to beat someone to death with using a rolled-up Passenger Satisfaction Survey.

Why roll it up? Death by a thousand paper cuts
