Bet they'll take it with them next time....'James's phone......no he's busy servicing a client right now, as soon as he's cleaned himself up he'll call you back'

Randomly having the tune to Tots TV in my head all morning.
Haven't seen it for over 20 years. No idea how or why it got stuck in my head today.

Dickheads who bring kids and dogs to the pub and let them run riot. Or worse, when the animal or kids make such a racket even the shitarse who brought them in notices the communication is so loud and obnoxious I feel obligated to have a word.
It's never worth it, it's always the arseholes that get triggered and best case scenario they sod off, worst case you end up in a punch up5 -

Annoy is probably not strong enough for this one. Having my ex girlfriend, her daughter and 3 kids come over to stay (which I don’t mind) because the daughter has on Sunday been attacked by her boyfriend with scissors to the throat and hands, strangled and fortunate to be alive.
The reason for the stay is that while old bill pushed for custody in remand, the magistrate has let the tosser out prior to his trial for GBH with intent on 25th March.
Police cant guarantee their safety until they find somewhere new for him to live and unfortunately he knows where the ex and her kids dad live as well,
Disgraceful.1 -
Absolutely f*cking hate people (pedestrians) who are walking the opposing direction, so we are about to go past each other....and they seem intent on walking right into me. I consider it strange behaviour.
It's like they are purposely pretending they are blind.
I am then forced to stop and wait for them to walk around me.
Personal space....it is important1 -
Bloody hate the formatting / paragraph spacing setup on here now...0

The neighbour who crept out under the cover of darkness the other night to utilise the remaining space in my bin the cram their own rubbish in. Leaving the lid unable to close, thus letting the rain in, risking it not being collected as it was now overloaded and using an open bin liner containing their half eaten takeaways, bottles, beer cans and assorted crud that was by now blowing down the road.
Chasing someone else's rubbish down the road was not the way to start my day off and as most of it was recyclable/compostable anyway totally unnecessary.
I've got a suspect but in the absence of night vision equipped CCTV my retribution will have to wait...1 -

Should improve most of these situations. Unfortunately there is no accounting for the self absorbed twunts who are looking at their phones or even unbelievably newspapers or books as they approach you on busy streets.1 -

Fecking SNP MP s. Just f**l the right off & the f**k off some more. The sooner your wet & cold little country gets it's independence the better. The only decent thing it has going for it are the Golf courses.
Like to see how you are going to fund free prescription charges & free hospital parking with the income derived from the many hill farmers & fisherman you have. The oil revenues aren't going to last forever.......and they probably belong to the Crown anyway.5 -
Reading a post of Golfie's and nodding in agreement as I go through it... What has the world come to!!3

When you get a sandwich from a cafe and they haven't properly cut through both slices of bread.
It looks fine, but as you pick up the first half which is still slightly attached to the other half, it drags the contents all over your desk.

Chris Grayling has again shown gross negligence with public money under his watch.
The £33 million compensation to Eurotunnel under his current title of transport secretary and £500 million wasted in 2015 whilst he was justice secretary.
What has the man have to do to get sacked?
Any decent person would resign.

I thought I knew California pretty well but I've never heard of the Song Hotel.Do you have to walk a long way from reception to the rooms?

I think it may help you to appreciate this wonderful track by getting inside the musicians minds. These are deep meaningful views, not just pretentious rubbish (ahem). Of course once you have digested this, we can talk at length about the guitar solos.
Don Henley said: It was really about the excesses of American culture and certain girls they knew. But it was also about the uneasy balance between art and commerce."Henley also said "It's a song about the dark underbelly of the American Dream, and about excess in America which was something they all, knew about." He later offered "It's a song about a journey from innocence to experience."
Meanwhile Don Felder explains: As you're driving in Los Angeles at night, you can see the glow of the energy and the lights of Hollywood and Los Angeles for 100 miles out in the desert. And on the horizon, as you're driving in, all of these images start coming into your mind of the propaganda and advertisement you've experienced about California. In other words, the movie stars, the stars on Hollywood Boulevard, the beaches, bikinis, palm trees, all those images that you see and that people think of when they think of California start running through your mind. That's all you know of California."
Glenn Frey compared this song to an episode of The Twilight Zone, where it jumps from one scene to the next and doesn't necessarily make sense. He said the success of the song comes from the audience creating stories in their minds based on the images.
Hope this helps @snowinberlin

My new desk in the corner of our office just in front of the kitchen. The disgusting smells of whatever gets microwaved in there is only marginally better than the total cack that people waffle on about in there. I hadn't noticed before, but it's disgusting how much time is wasted by people whose job description seems to be stand in the kitchen blathering on about complete garbage all day. Don't these people realise how hard I'm trying to concentrate on Charlton Life?6

My new desk in the corner of our office right next to the meeting room. Specifically the number of people who wander out of there and make a bee line for the first desk they see (mine), thinking that it's some sort of concierge sitting there. No, I don't know where the nearest colour printer is. No, I don't have a stapler. And No, I won't come in and fix the heating for you. And here's a thing, when I'm sitting there with headphones on and there's moving pictures of other people on my screen, that means I'm in a meeting of my own. A Skype meeting. Now, I don't wander into your meeting room asking for change for the parking meter, so kindly keep well out of mine. If you want some help, try the kitchen there's always a herd of people in there with fuck all to do!
