Talking of Michelangelo1 -
JA obviously has issues. He is genuinely in love with Charlton Athletic and we should cut him some slack.24

I only found out last week that Reams was Eddie May's son, Charlton assistant from 83-86 under Leonardo LorenzoCharltonByBlood said:

and Cardiff legend.
So this Jonathan Acworth is just some ex CL poster who has found a new home to peddle his recycled, rehashed gossip ?
and unlike Jimmy Seed doesn't have a friend involved in a consortium and who passes on info in good faith.0 -
He just said he ‘doesn’t have issues as some posters on life put it’. And then says he has a lot of contacts in the game who tell him what’s going on behind closed doorsShootersHillGuru said:JA obviously has issues. He is genuinely in love with Charlton Athletic and we should cut him some slack.4 -

Been around donkey's years. Used to ring up Charlton Live on a Sunday (when it was on RTM / Millennium Radio) and suggest a number of non-league strikers that we should be buying. Steve Portway being one of them. Hearts in the right place but more of a Walter Mitty character.7 -

We actually weren't far off getting him. Crazy that Gravesend stood in the way of him turning pro by being too greedy.golfaddick said:soapboxsam said:

His number of followers suggest he's a lot more reliable than your average 'transfer rumour' guy who has about 35.Braziliance said:

True story.ShootersHillGuru said:JA obviously has issues. He is genuinely in love with Charlton Athletic and we should cut him some slack.
My nephew was in a betting office a few months ago.
He got chatting to a fellow punter and happened to mention he was a Charlton fan.
The other bloke introduced himself as JA and asked if my nephew had heard of him.
He hadn't as he doesn't go on any forum.
Long story short JA had a pretty decent win on the horses and as he left gave my nephew £20 and wished him well.
So he ain't a bad bloke as far as I'm concerned.45 -
Well they're not conducting business at The Valley. Just left there and apart from a bored security guard and loads of people in African dress going a do in the North Stand, nothing doing. Lyle Taylor was in yesterday to collect something from upstairs, might be related to the sad passing of Betty Hutchins I don't know.1
