I'll be interested to see Oshilaja in action at RB. If he does well there, then it might affect Bowyer's thinking and he might decide to bring in an extra right sided CB instead

I wonder if an U23 defender (Yao, Stevenson) might be on the bench

    Mid-week home game... 2-1 Charlton.

10 points from 4 games and Taylor with both as he tries to outscore Grant.

We keep up our ability to concede every game.

Can't see Forrest sitting back and reckon it will be an open game. They demolished Brum on Saturday and missed so many chances. Be amazed if we stop them scoring. Another good point would suite me.

Difficult to call this one, a win would mean we are in an even better place than I expected, a draw would still be excellent for our new team.

Expecting a narrow 1-2 defeat or a 2-2 draw, followed by a win on Saturday.
  • I fancy4 points this week but I can't decide which game we'll draw, so hopefully 2-1 against Forest and dreams of a double Saturday 🤞

could of made the Tuesday but not the Wednesday,

the sky coverage how does it work is it on main channel?

would take another draw if offered, keep the unbeaten run going.
Looks like Preston v Stoke will be on Sky Sports Football so the main channel

I'm guessing Sky Sports Action is a secondary channel that SKY have without having to use the red button

Never heard of it before to be honest
Presumably the match will still be on the red button? Can't see too many people having the Action channel.

According to my trusty TV Times, Sky Sports Action is on Sky channel 407.

I will go for a 2-1 Win for the Addicks. All the goals in the second half with a very late winner. Nottingham are a good side, but we carry a bigger threat going forward.
We are top scorers in the division.

Right but it's only active if you have the whole sky sports package (unless you can buy Action separately?) I imagine a lot of people, myself included, only have the dedicated football channels. It's got to either be on the red button or the Action channel becomes active close to kick off (less likely).

All of the Sky Sports channels (401 - 409) are on Sky Go but you can't access the 'red button' coverage on that platform. If you want to watch a match that's being broadcast on the red button only then most of the time it'll be on the Sky Sports app and possibly on their website.

Seems Forest are set up wide for quick incisive counter attacking ..... which was their main attribute in demolishing Brum in their last game.

Should we play a diamond, our fullbacks could be exposed and vulnerable.

Sage makes an interesting observation about 'turnover in possession'.
We have a midfield with great mobility and energy, and I'd back us to break up Forest attacks and counter quickly ourselves.

I feel that Bowyer will play safe to start with and probably match up to Forest for the first hour - and then change formation according to the needs of getting the result.

Flying back in time for kick off, barring any major delays.

    First live match since Wembley.

Quite excited but worry our luck might run out.

    1.1

    Williams to score.

I think we will get a reality check here. Although I did think that about Saturday.

    0-1

Yep, Lord Bowyer is a bloody genius and miracle worker.

Addicks 2-1 victory. Another goal for Lethal, another assist for Willo, another mesmeric midfield-quartet performance. Mount Chuks with the other goal.

They also have a man run across the front of the keeper every cross/corner into the box.

Dont worry, we've got Lyle Taylor to get our own back on them!!

Only one defender on the bench shows how weak we are there. None of the young defensive reserves are ready for Championship football from what I have seen.

Make no mistake this is not going to be easy or remotely comfortable. Forest are a side that on their day will be difficult to beat, living up here in East Midlands, as I do, the talk is they are confident of getting a win at our place. Lolley is their main geezer and with Grabban they are as good as you'll find outside of Lyle and Williams in the games we have played so far. However I have a sneaky feeling we will nick it 2-1.

Sage, your proposed bench is a bit short of defensive cover, so I reckon Wiredu might get the nod over field.
Where did the delusion that Wiredu is a defender originate on this site (question mark non-functioning on my keyboard).

Another big test. Forest seem to be a bit hit and miss. It's a game they will fancy but don't think they will take it for granted due to our impressive start and even more impressive home form. Can see another draw but would love to see us get another win. 2-1 Charlton.

Living in Nottingham I can tell you for a fact that a large part of their fans are full of it, most reckon they will win. Would love to go in work on Thursday morning with a smug smile and walk past at least 20 odd miserable Forest fans haha.

Main danger men for them are Lolley and Grabban, both good championship players, reckon it's gonna be an open game and 3-2 to either of us, hopefully us.

I think they played a 4141 last game and used the wings so we are going to need energy on the pitch and players who can hold the ball to avoid the quick counter, Aneke should get the nod over Leko imo

Edit: just seen we haven't lost in our last 6 Vs them, they might be due a win then
