Too many balls on strike for not enough runs

I can’t remember a darker day in cricket. Ashes gone at home for the first time 18 years and Kent choke like that. Hope The Addicks can cheer me up.0

Very annoying0

Good night all0

Moeen has returned to the Pears fold to destroy 'Birmingham' at their place, so I'm not completely saddened about today's cricket. Sorry to the Kent fans though0

Gotta congratulate Surrey on winning that. We got ourselves into a great position, but a combination of batsmen plodding and good bowling by Surrey and we chalk up another loss.0
-
Still look good for the quarter final. Hope it is a home tie or not to far away. Can Surrey still qualify?0
-
Ridiculous to lose by 1 run when you have 7 wickets in hand, you could have understood it if we had been all out going for the total2

Looking at his stats, his average of around 30 in all formats is nothing special, but hopefully he can kick on with usAddick Addict said:Kent have signed Jack Leaning from Yorkshire for next season:

Thought Kent threw it away last night - they were strolling after 12 overs.
Missed the Surrey innings as my fkight was late but strange ground - like a hotpotch of sone new but mainly old stands but i woukd like one of those apartments overlooking the ground.0 -
He scored runs against us in the 4 day game at Canterbury earlier in the season. 68 if memory serves me right. I was there but as it was a cricket reunion the match did not receive my undivided attention!Addick Addict said:Kent have signed Jack Leaning from Yorkshire for next season:

To be honest, Canterbury is a bit of a dump really! The open seating is ancient tooThe_President said:Thought Kent threw it away last night - they were strolling after 12 overs.

In 2013 two extremely talented all rounders were sent home from an England Lions Tour:
"Both xxxx and xxxx have ignored the instructions given to them around their match preparation and recovery," said ECB performance director David Parsons.
One was Ben Stokes who might finally have realised that he cannot afford to allow off the field "activities" to affect his opportunities on it. Throughout the time since Stokes has always been the best and hardest trainer in the camp.
The other person to be sent home was, of course, Matt Coles. In a few years time people will, if some from other counties aren't already, be saying "Matt Who?"
Talent only goes so far.0 -
